@@latronquiI can't speak as to the international community, but my own observation about my fellow Americans is that we are heavily conditioned to believe the "us vs them" and "you're with us, or you're against us" narrative. A great example of this is Democrat vs Republican. Fully 51% of Americans are registered either as Independent or not registered to vote at all, due to lack of faith in either the Democratic or Republican parties. But both Democrat and Republican supports will confident declare that their own side has "at least 50%" of Americans supporting it. If you say anything against a Democrat, Democrat supporters hear "I support Republicans". If you say anything against a Republican, Republican supports will hear "I support Democrats". We are conditioned to believe it has to be Either 1 or 2, A or B, Us or Them, because that belief divides us and helps keep the powerful in power.

Thank you, Bernie, for not mindlessly calling for ceasefire without recognizing Hamas's role in how this started and for stating that Hamas cannot be part of the two state solution. Of course, we are all sad about innocent lives being destroyed in this conflict on both sides, but far too many on the left ignore Hamas's role as a terrorist organization that needs to be dismantled.

I’m more center left so I don’t agree with Bernie Sanders on everything. That said, during the DNC when the states were handing out delegates to Biden, I absolutely loved seeing Bernie in the background when it was Vermont giving the delegates. He knows that ALL Democrats need to be united to defeat Trump.

This video makes me so sad that we didn't get Bernie as President. We need a lot more people like him involved in our country's politics.

There have been presidents in the past who have been indicted. However Donnie might be the first one who is charged and convicted before the election. They should make an amendment that no one with a criminal record can hold a seat in any office. Only makes sense since you can’t hold any other jobs bc of a record.

Now there’s a man who tells it like it is. Thank you, Bernie, for maintaining your integrity throughout so many years in an environment so hostile to altruism. If only politicians like him were the norm, instead of the exception, maybe this country, and even the world, wouldn’t seem so doomed. Anytime I hear him speak I’m reminded of how important it is to take steps to get the money out of politics. We need to focus on the root causes of our problems, and that’s a big one!

I absolutely love Bernie and voted for him in both elections. However, I DO think Biden is much better at working bipartisan and reaching across the aisle to get more done. Which is what you have to do to get anything done in Congress. I support Bernie’s policies much more- but I think he is divisive in both parties and would have had a harder time getting anything done. Biden on the other hand was able to be the most progressive president we’ve had since FDR- and much of that was just from his ability to negotiate and be centrist. That balance between idealism and practicality. If you are too rigid, nothing will progress at all. But I do wish he could have worked out in a different election and a different Congress not infected with trumpers. He would be a great leader
