SEMI TRUCKS everywhere! Dodge, GMC, White, Marmon outside TRUCK Museum.
This is part 2 of the Dave Schroyer Museum visit in Celina, Ohio. This episode highlights all the outside "Donor" trucks and a few very rare GMCs in the crate !!! Unbelievable.

That Brigadier glider is an absolute time capsule!!
Some Beautiful old Cabovers sitting there that could probably tell a million trucker stories. That Marmon and the Dodge would look nice restored
Wow! You hit a goldmine! The Freightliner at 13:41 would be an excellent candidate for a "Pork Chop Express" replica from the movie Big Trouble in Little China
That generational collection is mind-blowing
Very cool old school stuff.
Loved it Dane. Good collection of old trucks hopefully getting restored. Of course you know I caught the White cabovers. You need another one.

Lol.... taking deep breaths 😂
Good afternoon Dane , That was so cool . I think I liked the outside part of the museum best especially some of the really old tractors , but some of the trailers were off the chain too , that one behind the Marmon looked just like the one in an early X File used for transporting a downed alien . Thanks Dane
SWEET VIDEO THANK YOU AGAIN
Quite a few of these rigs look quite restoreable too!!
Very cool............ 👍👍
Fantastic video, thanks Dane. 👍
Someone needs to save the Brigadier guider before it just rots away Dane!

Oh Great! I just drooled all over my phone... 1st seeing that Marmon 110 ex D.O.E. truck then that Big Bunk Powerliner! 2 of the top 3 on my Xmas list!
Fantastic video, can't believe the GMC cab brand new in a crate and a double bunk Marmon. The new intro music really fits the era. Keep the shiny side up. God bless you

There's some memories there. I've pulled some old trailers, but the one on that double sleeper Marmon has decorative hinges beyond anything I've ever seen. That OK Highway rig is before my time. A serious looking truck for sure.

Wow you were in my former neck of the woods. I lived for 10 years in Defiance which is not too far from Celina (been thru there quite a bit though. Celina is tornado prone) Amazing that to see a lot full of old trucks and knowing that some will start and come back to life. Good guess is they were running when parked but the owners wanted something newer or if it were a company truck, was being retired. Love that old 1940s/50s trailer with the Marmon. Upgrade it with spring brakes and a DOT bumper and it's as good as new again.
Lots of cool stuff there! You should grab that Corbitt @ 12:08 or the Powerliner @ 16:34, you don't see them at truck shows very much.
Wow there are some awesome projects sitting in their yard. Of course I have a soft spot for the Dodge wreckers. Like the new intro music, very fitting for your channel.

We used to have money trucks stop in my hometown in middle TN. I-40 . Bullet proof glass windows were smaller than normal both Marmons this is mid to late 90s. One driver would get out go get food then swap out to the driver. Trucks were never left alone. We saw them alot but everyone knew just stand clear very regular paint schemes looked normal less the bullet proof windows. Nice normal sized sleepers as well. Cool stuff.

One more thing that would draw your attention to them not standard length or height trailers.
Great video nice to see classic semi's going to be restored
My 1978 Astro had steel doors. 1982 had fibreglass doors. Steel doors shut better. Great collection. Dane.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 WOW! Nice new intro. Is that you singing?🧐 I finally got my IH home yesterday…in the downpour! What a trip! 🤪 The one old truck, I think is either a Federal or Corbitt. Love the Marmons! The GMC new glider…what a catch! Some wonderful stuff. Jerry Howard was a good friend of mine. I loved that old Freightliner. I was wondering who got it.🧐 Such a good selection for many people to pick from & make some wonderful new trucks again. I would love to get a drone to fly over those treasures outside. Wonder if we could orchestrate that? You’ve done a great part on getting access to these! Thanks! 🥰🥰✌️

Which IH did you bring home? Yes, I should drag out the drone lol. I haven't used it at all this year.
I enjoyed your tour hosted by young Lane Langencamp, Ohio Skills USA competitor in vocational Truck/Diesel Olympics this year. I met Lane at the Jerry Howard Memorial show in May. Also recognizable was the Marmon COE which probably came from the Buddy Sombart collection in Missouri that I viewed in 2010 . The blue/White GMC MH 9500 came from the Fremont, Ohio area and I spotted the black hood with white pinstripes from my MH 9500 that Dave Schroyer bought from me in about 2008. The rest of the chassis hulk is probably still there. The Brig glider kit used to be out front along the highway in hopes somebody needed it . Your video gave me a recharge of my "batteries ", as I'd been there several times .

WELL I BELIEVE WE HAVE TRULY FOUND PARADISE 💯%
My First trucking experience was in a b61 mack pulling a stainless steel trailer just like that one!
That GMC brigadier need to be saved love seeing trucks from back in the day it's a shame let the rust out like that
Such a shame that some of those were nice trucks when the current owner bought them, and have rusted out and deteriorated so much overtime. Lots of insanely rare trucks there that I hope get some love.

That bumper in the beginning of the video was a special order from the dealer. It was the dock style bumper. Some guys would cut the ends off but most of them were spec’d like that. It was for fleet trucks that used to go to a lot of dock style yards that had tight turning spaces so the edge of the bumper didn’t catch on something and get ripped off or torn up. It was a real thing.
I used to deliver to the Kentucky Trailer plant In Louisville Ky they been in business since the Conestoga wagon where made there. Toured the whole factory. Waiting to get unloaded

I know I love them! On my bucket list. There were so many trucks and we were limited by time so had to move quickly so Lane could get back to work. Love the 903! Neat setup 😬👍
The PowerLiners usually had the 430 Detroits in them. Bad a** back in the day.
the second one lol
Hey Dane, Seeing those GMC service bodies sure brought back some memories. Back in 1979 I was fresh out of tech school and the first job I got was at a GMC dealer. There was a guy who wrecked his General and his insurance company paid to have the cab replaced. They ordered in the cab and my friend got the job of replacing it.
Love your videos but is there any chance you could do something about the sound?

Kay County OK is on the OK and KS border.
Quite a few parts donors...
i liked that dodge tow truck
I want to see all the truck. To be restored
Man. dodge cabover drove one in seventies. And also seen conventional emeryville back in seventies. Drove one of them to. They were both very plain trucks.
I wish you would go back and look at the International wrecker with the integral sleeper. That is something you won’t find.

Crackerbox & that single axle trailer
That one old truck looked to be either a Henderson or a Brown. Not sure.
What's meant by a service cab? does that mean a replacement? Is it possible to get replacement skin for those old trailers? 9:40
@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE
Жыл бұрын
I’m told the service cab was an easier option to replace a damaged cab as it’s primed and ready for paint and switch over interior panels. Less labor and time to get the truck back on the road.

Where at?
On the short 9500’s and Brigaders is the only difference between the straight six cab and the short engine cab the doghouse covers or is there a difference in the floors and firewalls? I want to use a series 60, but only have available an 8v71 cab and 6v92 cab. Will that work, or do I specifically have to get a straight 6/71 or Cummins cab? Thanks and take care. p.s. The object is to get a reliable and economic tractor without breaking the bank.

Those are old time trucks
I wonder why they stopped making wheel landing gear for trailers…. I remember as a kid every trailer having those metal wheels.

It’s a shame that green Brigadier glider was in the elements. That should be in a dry storage facility. I’d love to have it. It was one of the first trucks I learned to drive on. Mostly I learned on a 78Ford LNT 8000 that my uncle had. It had a 3208 and 13spd. The Brigadier was the same 3208 and 13 spd. Tandem dump trucks. I miss them and would give my fully functioning nuts to have them again. Is that glider for sale?
