Semi-Truck Loses Back Wheels Trying to Turn Around Safety Barriers
Semi-Truck Loses Back Wheels Trying to Turn Around Safety Barriers
A semi-truck lost its four back wheels after struggling to complete a turn around safety barriers in Doral, Florida, on May 20.
Video shared by Jorge L Alvarez documents the large truck struggling to turn as a safety bollard was caught beneath its container, blocking its back wheels. After several attempts to readjust, the driver eventually plows forward, and the truck dramatically loses its hind four wheels in the process.
Alvarez told Storyful the incident occurred when he and his coworker arrived to the office in the morning. He added that it took the whole day for the vehicle’s remains to be removed and towed away.

I worked as a trailer mechanic for a few years when i was younger. It always amazed me that drivers would call us to work on them, but would always give us these wild ass stories about how it happened. We went to a yard to replace a set of landing legs that they said "failed". When we got there, the trailer was propped up on about 50 wooden pallets and the legs had been twisted up into the inside of the trailer through the floor. The driver claimed that he was just driving along and the legs fell off the trailer and he ran them over.😂😂😂😂. I wonder what the story was that he told to the dispatcher??
He takes that saying, "When it absolutely, positively MUST be delivered on time!", a little too seriously.

If you want to get fired from a truck driving job, THIS is the way to do it!
I’m in a CDL class right now and this is my biggest fear when I’m on my own to tell you the truth, even if I have my head on my shoulders
those things weren't there when I turned in 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂
We used to have a saying in the military: "You have to be at least ten percent smarter than the equipment you operate." This particular individual is a living testament to the fact that this saying is accurate. 😂

I like it. That's pure old fashioned horse dirt wisdom. The military has, over the last 85 yrs. or so had some completely hilarious stuff that's painfully true and bluntly humbling.

Bro was probably frustrated and I can relate. Probably drove all night and wasn't in the mood for this bullcrap.

They give a new meaning to "go over the top".
I like how the guy filming didn't go up to try to tell the guy he was caught on something and just stood there and watched him fail

He had no responsibility in doing so lol.
I'm laughing at the guy past the truck, walking up to the opening between those buildings. The body language speaks volumes!🤣
One of the reasons why my dad shut his company down 10 years ago because driver's treated company equipment like shit.

I learned a long time ago, that most people have very little respect for other people’s property… I experienced this with good friends and close family members… so just imagine how it would be with strangers! It is a basic human trait… a bad trait…

@@storysofar7426 Totally agree with you. I always compare it to how cars last a long time when only the same driver drives it and and gives it maintenance as opposed to when every family member of the family drives it to "low fuel", etc.

As a fleet manager for a huge German company I can definitely agree. 90% of our drivers don't give a F about the equipment. And they get paid more than fair.
The tassels hanging all along the top of his windshield must've been swaying wildly.

Yeah the company holded driver for more then 6 hours and didnt unload him.also there was no toilet...and most important they refused the whole load cause 3 boxes where damaged so yeah the day was great
Tragic that even once he made it to his destination by this angry and desperate gambit, he couldn't make the delivery because the back of his trailer is no longer at the same height as the unloading bay.

Pry open the doors and the pallets slide down hill off the trailer on their own. 😆 Who needs a loading bay / dock? He'll unload everything in the parking lot. 😆

He backed into the loading dock repeatedly until it dropped to trailer height.
You cam tell he knows what he was doing. You can hear him shifting that truck perfectly
At the station: - men, where are the wheels? - what wheels?
