Very good collection here. These are sad to see, but important for people to understand.

Wow, and I thought I was a bad driver... At least I've never done any of this... Well, except for 0:39. I parallel-parked in front of my house and knocked down a baby tree that was planted on the sidewalk. Still kinda embarrassed by it...

@candkath Swift is self-insured. No insurance company in their right mind would insure Swift.

Never ever ever let your guard down. Just too much at stake.

Most of those accidents are with companys who hire just out of school drivers with no experience. Swift must have high ins. premiums with all the accidents their drivers have.

The 1st one, How could you not see that coming?A few SWIFT in there & the rest areall these big nationwide companies.. Trucking was so much safer back when it was mostly unionized companies.. Deregulation has taken it's toll.

the cab on fire, I hope the driver got out first, I saw an accident on the 10 in the AZ desert back in Feb where two had headon'd each other, and one was engulfed in flames and you could see the smoke for miles, I think that driver died in the cab. Still freaks me out

Looks like about 80% were companies like swift, werner, JB hunt, Snyder.. Co that are notorious for not putting enough time into properly training their drivers.. I am not defending these people, but u can only blame the drivers so much, I mean we were ALL new at some point, and we all thought we knew what we were doing. Looking back we prob didn't know shit.. these drivers all think they're trained cause the instructor who doesn't care says they're good to go after 2 weeks. Then they're out on they're own and they fuck up. How long do we keep blaming these horrible under trained drivers, before anyone does anything to regulate the way to these Co are "training" drivers...

I agree but 18 years ago I was trained by a snider national teacher that I found out a year later he was fired for telling new bees the real truth about driving rigs. I guess to many got scared of what he said. That teacher, gave me the best advice on many situations. It's scared me so much that I still use his advice to see problems and situations b4 they cause me issues. So yes I totally agree, it needs to be put on the company.
