OH!! NOW I get it!! Three weeks ago, I was driving home from Dallas, and some azz clown trucker decided to swerve in front of me and ride the center line and cut me off for no reason. I was like WTF?!!! So then I passed him on the right side after he got in the left lane, and when I got about even with his front tire, he started swerving over in to my van acting like he was going to run me off the road! I started cussing like a sailor and sped up and swerved around the front of his truck before he ran me off the road. NOW I know why!! Some f-ing azz clown trucker was trying to get a good video to upload to the KZreads!! Nice channel, fart-knockers! Maybe try to discourage truckers from running people off of the road to get good footage?? (FYI, I was born and raised on a farm, I was weened on double clutching two sticks. I've got every respect for truckers in general, in fact, one of my sons IS a trucker. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what the hell THIS truckers problem was. Now I know.)

That didn't sit right, though, because where in the world is it a good idea to run vehicles off the road?? I have seen truckers box bad drivers in.. but I've never seen one trucker act like a menace.

It should be bigger fine for brake checking and if it results in damage then the brake checker should lose their license for 6 to 12 months, have to complete a 100 hour driver safety course at their expense, plus a hefty fine. Also, their insurance costs should go way up even if the brake checking didn't result in an accident/damage.

Long ago, had taken my wife to the ER for one of many false alarms when she was pregnant with our first child. No dash cams back then. A car cuts our cab off, swerving, almost hitting a school bus, then purposely trying to trick our cab driver into running into the concrete divider wall. I called the cops on the driver, gave plate number, and about 6 minutes later, the idiot pretends they are going to hit us yet again, except for the fact no one, including myself, saw we had a state trooper behind us, who switched lanes so fast to catch up with the nut job, that they in another attempt to pretend slamming into us, slam into the trooper, and spin off into a ditch. We pull over, and officer seeing my wife says to continue on, he has our info from the call, and will meet up later at the hospital. Two hours later, he visits us to see how my wife was doing, and find out the crazy driver that slammed into his cruiser, was arrested on many charges, some stemming in attempted vernacular manslaughter, drug possession, and driving under the influence, plus a lot of other charges I can't even pronounce, let alone spell lol.

The one thing that fucks up a brake checkers plans more than anything, especially if they just keep doing it, is if you completely pull over and stop for a "Rest Break". I've done this countless times and sure there have been a few that have pulled over in front of me, waiting for me to start driving again, but the longer you sit, wait and be patient, the less patient they become. It also gives you time to contact local law enforcement, so they can hopefully intervene. But even if they don't, eventually the Brake Checking Harassers will lose patience and leave because you are not giving them what they want...

A lot of this has to do with insurance. If they can claim that the driver hit them, then that’s a massive payout. Going SB on I-75 in Detroit, some douche in an E350 was so far up my butt that I could barely see his windshield [we were passing a semi and there was traffic in front of me... not like I could push the people in front] and the moment we cleared the semi, he swerves over and then back at me... damn-near hitting me. I jumped on my CB and asked that semi next to me, "You see that shit"? He replied, "Darlin' I most certainly did. I got you." He called up to semis further ahead, told them vehicle make and model and license plate and told them what he did. Semis further ahead come over the radio and say, "Oh... yep I see him." Another called out, "You ready? Let's block him in!" 😁 That was awesome. It doesn't seem like that happens anymore.

State boys might pull you over for 15mph+ over the limit, but generally won’t bother for 10-12 mph over. 😁 Our interstate limit is 70 mph. It's pure insanity for people to brake check a semi. When I delivered to auto body shops, I would drive a 14' box truck, single axle, but it was an OLD box truck and it had drum brakes all the way around. That was a difficult truck to stop on a dime! I had some dumb-ass lady turn left in front of me [from a turn around] and slam on her brakes to get into a gas station... she's lucky that she didn't get rammed. So, had a long line of folks stuck behind one jackwagon who refused to go faster than 1 mph over the speed of the guy he was passing. We were all casually awaiting our chance to floor it, once the opportunity arose. Had a guy fly up on the right side and squeeze between me and the trucker behind me, causing the trucker to swerve to the right lane with maybe an inch of clearance. So, I slowed down, drastically, and waved to the trucker to cut back in line in front of me. Trucker honked and flipped off the jackass behind me, and then gently got in front of me, back in queue, trying to pass the 5 cars on the right. Finally, the jackass in the very front passed, and got back over to the right. We all flew past and go to the right. I knew where the cop was hiding, so I held my place just a little longer than required, because the jackass behind me deserved it. Then, I got over to the right when the trucker flashed that I was clear and the jackass flew past, probably hitting 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. As we all passed him up the road, getting a speeding ticket, every single one of us tooted our horn at him, lol. Justice.

I'm sure many people watching this video are thinking the guy in the red car at 3:25 is the one doing something wrong and stupid. That doesn't appear to be the case though. Why are the trucks sitting right in the middle of the two lanes, blocking the left lane? I'm going to assume that the left lane is going to be closed ahead, so they're being assholes and closing it way before it actually closes. If I were in the red car in that situation, I'd be pissed off too. When the car tries to go past the trucks in the left lane and that truck swerves to try to put him in the barricade, I hope the guy got the truck's plate numbers and reported him to the authorities and to his employer.

You know what would be cool? If drivers in America took driving lessons from Germans. I drove in Germany once while I was on a job, and they'd actually get over if you were in the left lane. They'd literally drive in the right lane and only drive in the left lane if they were passing. They'd also give you room. They didn't drive on your ass or drive anything but the speed limit. I was shocked.

I don’t what y’all are watching, but in the very first clip, the truck is turning right on red. To the left of the screen there is a car, dark mini suv hatchback type, that is coming straight and then turns LEFT. Before that store. After the truck has already turned right a completely different suv (has handles on roof and other car didn’t) comes flying up blowing and break checking. It’s a different car from the hatchback that turned left while the truck turned right.
