Sembawang Hot Spring Park - Free Admission in Singapore

Follow Us as Jim brings you on a tour of the newly renovated Sembawang Hot Spring park, and shares with you his visit experience there.
Sembawang Hot Spring Park is open to public for free from 7am to 7pm daily. Visitors can not only soak their feet into the hot pool, but can also enjoy some hard-boiled eggs cooked with hot spring water. Pails are provided for such a purpose by the the park.
Visitors could typically spend about 2 to 4 hours in the park to enjoy the facilities available, and this includes an eatery serving local fare. As the spring water has a temperature range of about 50 to 70 degrees Celcius, patience is required if you do not wish to scald yourselves. :P Jim tried and tested the duration required for hardboiled eggs to be served and it was about an hour if the eggs were cooked under running spring water.
Other things which Jim recommend that you prepare include mosquito repellent, an umbrella, a handy fan, sun-block, bottle with iced water or ice, a small towel, fresh eggs, salt and pepper to garnish the hardboiled eggs before consumption.
Let us know what you think of the hot spring park. Do you have any similar experiences in other parts of the world too? Do share those with us too! :D

I really enjoy seeing these hidden parts of Singapore ... thanks! Maybe you can take us into a local house sometime ... have always been curious about 'kitchen gods' and other such things?

Hello Grant, glad you enjoyed the videos. A local house maybe not unless someone is willing to have an open house to host us. And not all households have kitchen god's these days really. :D
