saw you ramos the Dragon engine comander saw you gave list of not use able cards cause key being he is colorless card and comander says you can't use cards that don't share the colors of your comander so that whole video is a shame and lies cause of that rule so why should ppl build that deck if the second that play or show there hand that they will lose cause there cheating. I'm realy disappointed with your video please fix that video and please show deck that would work has to be colorless

dustin wrightson look in the text also colorless is not it’s color identity, it’s actually all five colors, like jodah archmage eternal, even though he’s 3 color. Color identity works if there is any other color in the text, not just it’s mana cost

@@dtv2426 yes I know how he works but colorless isn't a color I've been told by many others that colorless isn't count as a color reason why the less part in colorless mean no colors in it and ramos cast cost is devoid of color so it mean can't use cards in the deck with color if he the comander is colorless means only can use cards base on his mana cost color which means only artifacts only can't use a card with any color's in there mana cost the card does make any color yes but the card it self has non so you can't use colored cards in the deck not possible do to magics base rules on comander all cards in the deck have share the or a color with the comander can't use blue cards in deck with a mono red comander if do you brake the rules you'd have to use a red blue comander to do that same goes for colorless comander you can only use artifacts or devoid cards cause there colorless can't use one with a color in there mana cost in the deck it's write in wizards rules for comander it's plan and simple. look up the rule I've been told this by my card shop owner who sells and host torments I asked him this cause want to do the same but turns out you can't base on the mana cost color type has to be the sane as your comanders color type if they do not share the same time can't use it so need a five color to play most of the cards you showed in that video can't use a artifact colorless comander that may happen happen to make five colors you can't base on comander rules of the cards color type base he has no color so there for can only use colorless cards in the deck but if use something like ur dragon who five colors or progenitus as the comander then you could use thous cards but can't if your comander is colorless like ramos is a colorless mana cost so you can't use any color cards if your comander colorless that would be braking the rules do see what I mean

That feeling when commandzone talks about cards you wanted to buy and you know that you'll never be able to afford them now...

Just one more tip for anyone really trying to go crazy high power w Selvala.. I think the best current tech for going infinite w Selvala is Ashaya. There are a number or different ways to go but the easiest ones involve quirion ranger or scryb. You basically use the rangers’ own abilities to bounce them to hand (cause Ashaya makes them count as forests) untapping a creature (Selvala) then tapping Selvala for a lot of mana (Ashaya is almost always big enough herself) play the ranger again so the game sees it as a new object so you can bounce it again to untap Selvala again. Rinse repeat.

One my favorite cards in the deck: Concordant Crossroads. Get in a loop with Selvala, draw the entire deck, play a bunch of big dudes, pump them just enough (or use triumph of the hordes), play Concordant Crossroads (nobody excepts it). Boom you win the game XD

Hey Selvala! I remember when DJ made a deck tech for Selvala a year or so ago! Also, looking good DJ. I always make that mistake when looking for wurms Josh! That spelling gets me every time! Oh my goodness thank you Ultra pro for making these sleeves! This is brilliant! I want these for all my two color decks! Haha! No not the bees! Great deck tech Josh and DJ!

Fauna Shaman is a very useful card for this deck for consistency. Llanowar Elite may be worth looking at as it can be big later or be small early to help ramp the multi-mana elves. Hunting Triad a tribal elf sorcery can make three elf tokens or be discarded to give one creature 3 +1/+1 counters. A good finish is Squallmonger/Hurricane plus Glacial Chasm to protect you.

Is the fan-attended game knights still happening? Or did something happen that prevented it?

have you considered phyrexian dreadnought in this deck? you can tap selvala for 12 with the sac trigger on the stack so it's pretty much the best ritual card available

I run this deck... I agree with most of your comments, and I added a few of the cards mentioned in here. Further notes, though... Phyrexian Dreadnought. With the "Bury" effect on the stack, tap Selvala. Basically Dark Ritual on super-crack, and if you have Berserk in hand, it's all the mana... Bramble Sovereign, Seedborn Muse, Karametra's Acolyte, and Thousand-Year Elixir are all good in this deck. Seedborn is particularly nasty w Omnath as it grows and your mana stockpile grows during opponents turn. Once you hit the threshold of infinite mana w Umbral Mantal, you can also make all your mana dorks and arbor dryad infinitely large till end of turn. And Yeva, Nature's Herald is a great response to Cyclonic Rift.

I like the idea of a huge Hero's Bane in this deck. Seem's fun. Another funny mana sink is Ant Queen for infinity token. I can't believe you didn't mantion the Eldrazi in this deck tech. They are like the ultinate huge dumb creatures. Ulamog, It that Betrays, and my favorite in this deck: Endless One. Literaly. Great deck tech as always, happy to see you're videos. Good luck!

Selvala is amazing, I use her as just another mana dork in my Xenagos stompy deck but now sort of want to build her as her own commander.

I'd throw in all the 1 mana ramps to increase T2 Selvala, Llanowar Elves, Wild Growth, etc.

The problem with this is turn 2 Selvala doesn't do much outside of the CEDH build and the dorks do nothing later game.

Heroes' Bane is really good with Selvala and Impervious Greatwurm, because you each turn with Selvala, you can get 16 mana to pay for Heroes' Bane 4 times, multiplying its power by 16 each turn.

6 minutes in and thank you Josh for the daily pass at a color combination I love. Always nice to have the reminder that it's useless and weak, thanks.

Kelly Tracy I managed to win a 2 games in the trot with my firesong and sunspeaker deck. Once by having 1000 life and aethersphere and once via acidic rain copied 3 times. Enjoyed killing the green decks with their own land ramp lol. I think the rare wins with boros makes them all the sweeter.

You didn't mention Ghalta alongside the other "replacement commanders," only in the 99. I just want to point out that Ghalta is a great commander since it ensures you can almost always turn on your power matters stuff, dodges commander tax well, and lets you kill efficiently with commander damage (especially with Overwhelming Stampede and Pathbreaker Ibex)

I dont think it dodges commander tax the second time you cast it from the command zone you still have to pay at least 4 mana

Commander tax is reduced by Ghalta's reduction in the same what that Karador reduces commander tax, etc. meaning it always costs GG if you have enough power. This makes it work decently well for sacrificing, as long as you can keep the board stocked with some power or rebuild quickly.

Great Video guys. To combat combo decks that win with infinite mana, do you think WOTC should create an instant with split second that deals damage to a player equal to the mana floating in their mana pool? Or would this be too powerful?

As a mono green player - this was a great video...come to the part about killer bees - and yeah...won my first commander game with it and the other player's reacted pretty much like how you said they would.

I was going to get the Boros sleeves for a Boros deck I have planned but now, I'm getting Golgari, thanks for the idea :P

I'm trying to build a Kess deck that does this: show and tell -> omniscience -> enter the infinite -> eye of the storm -> all the sorceries and instances that double spells like fork and bonus round -> grape shot/tendrils of agony. I'm just trying to figure out how to make it more consistent

One of my favorite cards to use in my selvala deck is Heroes' Bane. It's like chameleon colossal except it keeps the power boosts.

Traverse the Outlands, such a good card in any deck with green but were it shines is putting in a lands matter deck and getting tones of landfall triggers

one of my favorite "win cons" in artifact decks is to make infinite mana, play mycosinth lattice and memnarch, and just steal everyones permanents. it's not directly winning the game but its still really fun and usually results in a collective scoop lol.

When I have infinite mana, I generally like flickering my creatures (mostly with Deadeye Navigator) in order to get an infinite number of ETB triggers. What kind of triggers obviously depends on the deck, but I like combining True Conviction (for lifelink) with Volcano Hellion and Stuffy Doll.

I'd love it if y'all did a deck tech around Ink Eyes, Servant of Oni.

I had a Primal Surge 99 Permanent Saskia deck and then I realized I needed answers but that was my only major win con in any of my decks lol

it's funny cause i was playing around with my goreclaw deck yesterday and came to the conclusion that selvala would be a better commander and picked one up. now this goes up. perfect timing lol

Favorite way to win is with Torgaar+Wound Reflection. Doesn't work often but super fun when it does. Also, ever thought about putting Realm Seekers in the deck?

i don't know if this is good or not but Goreclaw Terror of Qal Sisma sounds good in this deck as any creature with power 4 or more costs two less to cast and when attacking with goreclaw attacking creatures with power 4 or more get's +1/+1 and trample until end of turn.

Played Lord Windgrace, won by playing Torment of Hailfire for X 20, twas glorious.

Recently from the upcoming Guilds of Ravnica set they spoiled an amazing rare: Emmara, soul of the Accord GW Legendary creature - Elf Cleric When Emmara, soul of the Accord becomes tapped, create a 1/1 white soldier creature token with lifelink. I think this card is so cool and would love to build a commander deck with her... However I'm not that much experienced in commander yet and have a hard time getting to a full deck list... Perhaps you can do a deck tech with her? EDIT: nevermind... 1:12 you already announced that you will do a game knights with GoR

I don’t think I would be able to play Killer Bees without yelling WU-TANG at the top of my lungs as it resolves.

Guys, I would like to make a suggestion. I really like the idea of the basis for the Commander decks that you talked about (10 ramp, 10 draw, 25 standalone, etc.) However, I still have tons of doubts regarding which category the cards fit. For example urza's incubator, is it ramp? Since reduces cost? Or is it an enabler for your strategy? Herald's horn, can give you cards and reduces cost. Is it ramp? Draw? Both? Or an enabler? Especially the enabler x enhancer category seems really complicated for me. Lightning greaves is it enabling your strategy or enhancing your deck? Would you mind talking more about this? I hope you can! Thanks.

I once killed the entire table with black market with about 50 charge counters and torment of hailfire. It felt amazing.

I have to disagree on this one. I play Selvala myself (not a fully competitive build) and trust me, converting two mana into TWELVE mana plus a card is NEVER bad.

All the don't include creatures are the core creatures in the Selvala Cedh Brostorm Deck.

Clearly rituals that draw a card and add 7 mana are terrible and shouldn't be played.

My gonti deck loves sinking into Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire

favorite thing to do with infinite mana, Drop Finale of devistation with howerver much you want for x, then with its tutor ability grab god-eternal Rhonas or Craterhoof if you have it, then blow everyones minds at the whole table

No mention of Heroes bane? It's like the chameleon but it keeps it's power, not just until end of turn

in my rishkar deck, I use that much mana i generate often for rhonas or nyela. Or just break in with the craterhoof Behemoth.

At last an episode about my deck

Jhoira weatherlight captain artifact deck, infinite cogwork assembler tokens or blightsteel tokens for added salt or infinite burn with welder automaton.

I like the idea behind this but I really dislike all this infinite stuff. I guess it's ok dor upper tiers but.... how could multiplayer be fun with playing all that combos?? Any suggestions how to replace the Combo stuff?

I've been slowly colllecting cards for my own Selvala deck whenever they reprint her, but now I'm worried all of these cards are gonna spike because of this video :( Selvala is expensive enough that I don't want to buy her yet! Now I need to quick buy up all these other cards.

Walking ballista is the best for infinite mana because you can typically also kill any troublesome creatures that are keeping you from winning.

As a Kruphix player this gives me some fun ideas

Doesn't Selvala go infinite with Sword of Parun itself? You tap her, she becomes a 4/3 from the sword from being tapped then adds 4 mana, and only takes 3 to untap.

Love this deck, but Selvala got a lot of hate in my meta when I built her. This video really makes me want to rebuild it, but fighting the uphill battle against the hate got old. Great deck anyways though!

Marwyn, the Nurturer will get super powerful in a Selesnya deck. Just have her in play along with Midnight Guard. Enchant Midnight Guard with Presence of Gond and generate as many elves as your heart desires while Marwyn gets +1/+1 for each elf generated

I hope at some point they release a non-foil version of Impervious Greatwurm. Love the card, but I'm not a foil guy.
