Selvala has to be one of my (if not my favorite) Commander I presently have built. I remember when Conspiracy TTC first was released I bought a pack and pulled a foil. Was super stoked for it at the time, since it was a $80 card, now though holy crap, needless to say I have it double sleeved and in a top loader since the day I pulled it. That being said I was so happy when I seen this video in my notifications, not only due to being the one to suggest it, but also for how much love I have for this card, and seeing how other people would build around it. Was excited to see how you were going to build this with the self imposed budget restriction, and I for one love it. This is pretty much my strategy for the deck, get big things out and go smashy smashy. Have also heard of Mono G Storm builds with her as well - but I'm a simple man with a simple plan lol. Love the addition of Genesis Hydra, has loved that card from the Duels of the Planeswalker video game, and have included it in a few decks throughout the year - from Mono G devotion in standard to my very own Selvala deck as well. Couple of upgrades for me would be to add something like Nyxbloom Ancient, Craterhoof, Garruk Caller of Beast, Hardening Scales/Doubling Season, Hangarback Walker/Walking Ballista and Genesis Wave. Some budget options would be Managorger Hydra, Decimator of Provinces and End-Raze Forerunners. Out of the 3 decks you were going up against, I agree Kumena is the one that troubles me the most, since I have played against a version of it in standard and it is a PAIN to deal with. Loved the game, congrats on the win - what can I say when Selvala works and flows, it get wonky quickly. I remember the best was a turn 4 play where I cast Triumph of the Hordes and managed to knock out 2/3 of my opponents, and got the last to 8 infect. Looking forward to see what I have in my collection and what I will need to get to build this one. Thank you for the amazing video as always and see you on the next one. #Roadto250...... I’m glad to be able to put up a video of one of your favorite commanders! Selvala is super strong and I’m usually on the other side of the beat down so it was nice to be at the helm for once. Mono green isn’t my favorite color but I like this particular build because it can do so many different things. The upgrade suggestions are great too! I didn’t even think of a few of those when I was putting the deck together. Thanks for the suggestion, I think the deck turned out pretty well!

@@DungeonLearnersGuide I think so too, even though I have some of the more expensive pieces I suggested I think I am going to put together the list you did and have it as a alternative version that isn't as "overpowered or powered up" Truly loved this one, but than again I love all the vids.

I have it built and ready to go, I just have to record the game now. And, as an extra spoiler for future content related to that, there’s a commander game coming up (probably not super soon unfortunately due to prep and editing time) with the un-set Urza as a commander too.

@@DungeonLearnersGuide Looking forward to it, always interested to see Un cards in a format they normally wouldn't see play, I remember when they allowed Silver-bordered cards for a bit, Earl of Squirrels went directly into the early iteration of Mono G.
