You shouldn’t have time to play Asuza. Run lotus petal, elvish spirit guide, borreal druid, even jeweled amulet. I mean you want Selvala turn 2 AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. Like nearly 100% and you can absolutely get there w good mulligans and increasing your zero and one mana ramp. Get rid of the other ramp. Play big statted dudes and buff spells and don’t mess around w the higher cmc stuff You don’t need Genesis wave or the thing that poisons people you just get to infinite and you’ll figure it out from there. You don’t need the win cons or the 2,3, or 4 mana ramp spells The dork that costs 4 and taps for your devotion is fine. But that’s as far as I’d go. And Priest of T is good too. I don’t even think you want Marwyn but I could maybe maybe see that? 3 mana for her though?? When do you want to cast her?

As a hardcore cEDH grinder I would call this a high power deck, not a cEDH deck yet, but it's getting there. But an awesome deck for sure! Beautiful Selvala.

What do you personally think you’d take out or add being as you think it’s not CEDh yet? A lot of the CEDh decks I’ve seen played run most of this deck. Just tweaked here a little from others

Beast within has to stay. Once you get the list super lean you’ll need that in case something happens to your finale of dev. It’s a back up win condition. Loop it w EWit and either kogla or Temur. Then once all opponents have are 3/3 tokens you bounce the kogla to fight them all. If you have to you can loop permanents out of your yard, hit them w beast within over and over and make infinte beasts for you to finish the job

this is a highpowered casual at best neat cards like mox and that gaea is a beauty but id cut so much. just focus on infinite turn three im updating my selvala cedh deck tech soon. i run a budget build under 1000 bucks. selvala turn two win on three selvala is a powerhouse and my personal cedh deck is selvala rocked her for five years and love her. this list is formidable in fnm i bet but needs trimming down for cedh viability as it will be slow. id definitely cedh ify your deck with that gaea and those pretty rocks though. you could make a great cedh just cut all the beef and focus on turn two action

You really want to start to see this deck as a storm deck. It really is just a storm deck. Your creatures are just rituals/mana rocks that cantrip (if you sequence well) it’s prob the hardest deck to sequence perfectly in the format. Just make mana and draw cards. That all you want to do. You eventually get to a place where you can draw your deck and have infinite mana. Then you can use those “rituals/mana rocks” to finish the game with a finale of dev. Everything else is secondary. I’m gonna try to check in w your list and see how you are progressing. When I see Craterhoof come out.. I will know that you unlocked the deck😉 Really. If you draw your deck w infinite mana what do you need a craterhoof for? In my budget list I use Greaves and crashing draw bridge so I can play all my dudes, pump them w something over and over, then equip the greaves to drawbridge so I can give them haste.lol. In a non budget deck you just cast finale of devastation. That’s that. I’m super excited to see someone else joining the Selvaka cedh club. We are a dying breed. She’s still a great deck. Not top tier but once you get the sequencing right you’ll find yourself going for the win SECOND and that’s a great place to be. You’ll also be storming off w creatures which are harder to counterspell. Enjoy this phase my man. You’re about to learn things at a blistering speed and you’ll get that green girl to do things you literally wouldn’t have thought possible. The deck is very hard to pilot. Be warned. But very rewarding 🖖 namaste and happy brewing. And put Ashaya in😁

ashaya all day such a great addition to secret commander kogla i cut craterhoof for awhile but now run it however it could be cut as it becomes redundant in the build with finale or triumph i like walking balista as well for instakills and helix pinnacle can win awkwardly and rudely. pinnacle is my baby hahaha

Ashaya makes your dudes forests You can return rangers to your hand w their own ability to untap Selvala. Or another big mana dork. That’s why you see the rangers in all the decks. They go infinite w Ashaya Also Ashaya makes your dudes lands which makes a lot of removal not hit them including cyc rift

I think you should cut all the two mana ramp including the monilith Arcane signet should be cut. You never want to cast it.

There's a bit of excess artifact ramp, and the absence of forest fetches to thin your deck - there's a few heftier green card draw creatures and several cheap untap instants that also bolster selvala's power by herself you might want to consider, and while it's expensive I've been enjoying decent success rocking Ulvenwald Oddity for the haste and the fact that it's a creature, which combos nicely with green sun, natural order etc. No survival of the fittest? Could be the critical push enchantment you're looking for. Also get delighted halfling in there if possible.

This could easily be taken to a tier two cedh deck. It seems like you know what cards need to go for the most part and it’s hard to call it a casual deck. But I don’t think it’s quite there. Selvala isn’t what she used to be sadly (I’ve played Selvala a long time) what I would suggest is to take a look at the cedh decklist database and read the primer for Selvala. I gold fished your deck a bit and I’m not seeing these turn 3 wins. I have two main pieces of advise if you wanna just try to fix it on your own; 1) you don’t need win conditions. The deck just already plays cards like Finale of devestation or can loop things to win the game with EWit and Temur sabertooth. Like loop beast within and then bounce Kogla over and over to fight all the tokens or use great oak guardian to make your army enormous or just hit all your creatures with the same pump spell a billion times. You don’t have to worry about committing slots to win cons. Focus the entire list to just make infinite mana and infinite card draw as fast and consistently as possible and play a bit of disruption like Collector ouphe, Manglehorn, etc. You’re looking to get it to threaten a turn three win as consistently as possible and have enough disruption and protection to make that fast enough. It looks like you did this brew on your own. Hats off to you. That’s an amazing feat. But know that if you take that to a tourney the other players are mostly working together or at least paying attention to the discords for their commander(s) and the Selvala discord is a fantastic place to go for help. Cut everything you think you might want to cut. You seem to have a grip on what doesn’t need to be there. Great job man. Better than I’d have done on my own. No offense meant here. This deck has been optimized and tested and pushed to the loots by a big group of people so maybe check in w them and see what they/we are up to. Btw, there are some new toys coming out in Ixalan and I think that last March of the Ents is maybe playable too. Been a long time since mono green got new toys

Turn one or two Selvala. Next turn you need an over statted dummy or a pump spell like mutagenic growth or invigorate, that will ramp into your next thing and draw for you. Next turn you should be able to chain card draw off fatties and big draw spells together and storm into the win Start there. Notice there is no point in that plan where you want to spend two mana for artifact ramp. Keep the zeros and one mana ramp add them all. I think you aren’t on elvish spirit guide if I remember correctly. Just get the deck playing the same every time. Mull aggressively for turn one ramp into t2 Selvala into t3 storm off Once you have all the pieces that can do that very nearly 100% of the time you can start deciding what hate pieces, protection spells, and removal you can afford to run.

Bro easy chord for call defence for veil and invigorate for anything it triggers so many loops just woth selvala. Man its a really slow build tho nyx lotus costs to much grim doesnt net enough esp bc you coukd just play null rod to work with the ouphe and get a manglehorn in there and try to keep the urza decks at bay. At the end of the day you need to press winn turn 3 latest woth contingencies and you only need 1 land and a dork and you should be able to press easy. The more the deck gets honed the more potential combos you should gain. My last build had more combos than cards. And really grim monolith without survival of the fitest???

What a weird spot to be in for a deck. Being a total pub stomper on one hand, but totally not a cedh deck whatsoever. (theres just too much junk in your list)
