I actually own the huttl version of this trumpet and it’s my favorite trumpet by far as a music major and my second favorite is the silver colibri (another huttl very similar to this) These horn are very unique and are extremely dark sounding. I’ve notice that the beginner models are pretty mediocre but the professional lines are extremely good at the cost (or benefit) of being extremely heavy

I don't know if Besson had anything to do with Selmer London, maybe someone else has better knowledge. Selmer Invicta trumpet looks quite similiar as Super Sterling, may be from the same production line. Invicta has this beatiful two-color bell.

Very interesting, thanks. I have the equivalent trombone model and have been wondering about the age of it. Are you aware of any information on serial numbers for these instruments?

Very informative, there is one on ebay for $350.00, plus shipping, and now sales tax, over $400.00. total, is it worth it?

Those have been sold around that price, it sounds about right to me if it is in good condition. The horn (at least the one that I had) is ML bore but it feels smaller horn to play, more like M bore horn. It may feel a little tight if you are accustomed to nowadays regular medium-large bore horns.
