When Boucleme asked me to do a video about #selflove I knew it had to be an open and honest one. I could have just told you about the things I love about myself, but it has been such a long road to come where I am now.
I know that there are a lot of women who struggle with loving, accepting and embracing themselves and I hope to encourage all of you with this video.
I think that whatever size, shape or color you have it’s important to embrace it.
♥ It took me quit some years to came to the point where I am now but I’ve never felt more like myself. Stepping out of my comfort zone, feeling awkward and uncomfortable from time to time, it gave me the space to grow. It gave me roots to feed me with love for myself and I embrace that every day.
I want to say a very special thanks to Boucleme for giving the love today ♡

I was always told by my family members that I was ugly and that my curly hair was ugly and will never be in style. I’m in my early 40’s now and as I am with lupus now I decided to embrace my curls. I have never ever let them free or even know how to make them look beautiful. My husband loves them and I keep blow drying my hair when I’m not too sick. After seeing your videos I’m so motivated. Thank you 🙏🏼
This is an important message. I see beautiful women posting pictures of themselves or doing videos (I enjoy your's very much) and assume that they are confident and in love with themselves and wonder why I can't be that way too. Thank you for reminding me not to compare my insides to everyone else's outsides because I really don't know their stories. One small thing everyday, thank you for a tool that isn't complicated.
Hello beautiful Curlfriend, isn’t it amazing how we can tear ourselves down? We don’t realize how negative and toxic our thoughts can be and they have an effect on us. It took me a long time to learn how to become aware of my thoughts and stop a negative thought and replace it with a good thought. Now it’s much easier. I also recently learned to speak love to myself as I drift to sleep. I say things like I am loved, I am healed, I am content, I am happy, I am a good person, I am blessed. It helps tremendously. May God smile upon you and shower you with His everlasting love.
