Self-Massage for Parents and Caregivers - Relieve Upper Body Pain and Tension

My first couple of years as a mom placed a lot of strain on my upper body. If you are a parent of a baby or young child, I bet you can relate. All the lifting, holding, carrying, feeding can lead to pain and injuries in the neck, shoulders, forearms, hands, and thumbs.
In addition, new parents have a tendency to neglect self-care, as they care for their baby around the clock. (I am guilty of that as well!) But it becomes difficult to care for your child if you are in pain. If you take a little time each day for self-care, you will find that you can better care for your little one.
Follow along as I teach you some fantastic techniques for alleviating upper body pain and tension. We’ll also work to correct that hunched-over posture we tend to adapt as new parents. We will give much needed attention to the shoulders, chest, upper arms, forearms, hands, fingers, and thumbs.
This massage is easy to follow and feels great-and when you feel better, your baby feels better!
