Savage! Gutted about that first handle. I recommend getting a round tipped carbide tool, you need to be really gentle with resin to avoid all that chip out you got. Maybe also try and take the corners off with a 45° jig for the bandsaw or on your belt sander. And yes to the extended/2 part testing vids!

@@DiesInEveryFilm ah crap. Didn't spot that with my old man eyes
I fixed up a piece of welding lead with a connector. I’ve been carrying it under the seat of my car for about 25 years. Luckily, I haven’t had to use it. But my brother did beat down three guys and had them crying and begging for mercy! My brother said through their T-shirts you could see the welts, turning black and blue and raising up almost the thickness of the welding lead. He beat them like rented mules!!! Your version is way more lethal!!! I like it!!!! Great job I love the outtakes at the end of your video where you’re in the dog cage !!!! Lol

When you get a torch and get that cable red hot in one spot, you can twist it till it snaps off. The end is the sort of welded together.

Great work. I thought you were going to thread the end of the cable in the handle and then use a bolt on the base of the handle to have a mechanical connection to prevent the cable from ever coming out of the handle.
Yes to the testing vids!!!! That was just beautiful (and deadly of course) and I was saddened by the failure of the wood/resin handle blank. As i saw you had more of those in the drawer, if you're near Birmingham, maybe talk to Nick Zametti about how to turn them without all the issues... He's on here too....

Not sure what your skill level is as far as welding, but I found that TIG welding with silicone bronze works great for attaching cable to tubing or whatever. The low heat doesn't blow out wire strands and leaves a pretty smooth finish.

I’ve tried it before but the cable gets hot and unwinds it’s self, I prefer to just mig it never had issues with that

@DiesInEveryFilm

It would be pointless tbh, you may as well just use a taser or cattle prod and the sing from the whip is definitely enough pain you aren’t really benefiting from electricity
Maybe it's just that I am goofy that way but I was thinking silver tips on one of these modern wolf killer whips would be a welcome addition to the old werewolf hunting kit .
