Great job
Dope bro.
Thanks for posting this. I found your video looking for 360 mirror videos, but I really like your tutorial on how to do the bald fade and it came out awesome. My self cut mirror is on the way but i’m most concerned about cutting the left side, as that always seems the hardest to do (especially switching to left hand). But i’m hoping the 360 mirror will help, as using a handheld mirror was just too hard. Can’t wait for my mirror to come in so i can try this and hopefully perfect it with practice! 👍🏽
@jaesonflores3119

Congrats on your purchase! You will 100% enjoy it over using a handheld mirror. Regarding using your left hand- just be patient and take your time. You have to train your brain but one you get used to your off hand then it will come naturally
So informative man! Great video! I'm here because the current 3 way mirror i bought has an LED light but it just isn't enough coverage to get good lighting. Strongly considering this if it improves the light coverage! Thanks :)

Hoping I can save up for all that equipment to cut my hair efficiently, but right now walmart clippers and a hand held mirror will do the trick hahaha. and whilst I'm waiting to save I might as well learn as much as I can, nice video man!

Wicked video, just bought the travel version. Do you find the lights really help? Is it worth the effort?
Bro this was a really great video. Quick question, do you need the velcrow for the LED lights? cant you just stick them on the mirror?
@jaesonflores3119
3 жыл бұрын
You can definitely stick them directly to the mirror, but you run the risk of having to peel an LED strip off in the event that one goes out and you need to replace. This has happened to me and having it on velcro made it much easier to replace
That’s crazy
Dope video! Did you buy the 10 count or the 5 count of the velcro strips?
@jaesonflores3119
4 жыл бұрын
I bought the 10pk, but the 5pk should be fine too
Nice job man. What’s the purpose of cutting the top with scissors if you went over it with the 5 guard?
@jaesonflores3119
4 жыл бұрын
Since I comb my hair forward and cut with the 5 guard (with the grain) the top of my hair can still get pretty long. Going with the grain makes it so the hair lays evenly and doesnt stick up much. I use scissors when the top gets too long for my liking.
Only one request please can you do medium length haircut please 🙏
My clippers are Wahl Legend, would the guards for the oster apply for my clippers? Also, is your t-trimmer zero gapped? Thank you
@jaesonflores3119
3 жыл бұрын
No you would have to buy Wahl specific guards for those legends. My trimmer is close to zero gap but not super sharp because I use the razor anyways on the lineup.
Do the lights provide enough brightness to fully illuminate individual hairs? Because I was thinking on doing this, or buying a light stand
@jaesonflores3119
3 жыл бұрын
The lights make a huge difference. Especially how I set it up with the vertical strips on the sides makes everything brighter
I made the same mirror system with walmart mirrors for like $20 and $10 for the leds

Same, but I guess this is for the person who couldn't find them
are your fast feeds zero gapped?
@jaesonflores3119
4 жыл бұрын
They arent 100% zero gapped, but definitely closer than how the blade comes stock
Hey Jason, Great Video. How is the view of the back of your head with the self cut mirrors? VS using a handheld and bathroom mirror?
@jaesonflores3119
4 жыл бұрын
Honestly you can see just as much with both depending on how you use the handheld. I like the self cut mirrors cause I feel like I can see closer with more details (especially with the lighting).
Wait a second... how did you make your fast feeds cordless?!?
@jaesonflores3119
3 жыл бұрын
they're not cordless its still corded. I retrofited them with omnicords
What guard/open/close did you use to cut the front of your head man? Thanks in advance.
@jaesonflores3119
Жыл бұрын
Haven’t done this cut in a while since I currently have a combover, but I recall this being a 5 on top. So probably a 3 and 2 guard combo for the front part

Just did the modification to my mirror its really good. I noticed when opening and shutting my led connector cables got caught between the mirror fold and it cut the wire some. It still works just noticed it. Have you had this issue?
@jaesonflores3119
3 жыл бұрын
No I haven’t had this issue. My connectors actually fit perfect when folding the mirrors. You might just need to fiddle with it a little bit to get the cables to sit correctly.

Do the lights bother your eyes when you are cutting?

Not at all! It helps my eyes cause I can see everything. Remember you aren’t looking directly at the lights, only at the mirrors.

Brooo cut my hair😭
While I do like the video and its premise. I don’t really understand why I wouldn’t just pay the extra $12ish and get the one already made and add lights (I’ll pass on Amazon lights though) Oh, but therein lies the reason. I get it. I believe in freedom of enterprise. Again. The content is great. I liked the video. I just wish someone on KZread would rise above click-bait titles and give full disclosure of the content allowing the viewers to make the choice, based on facts, whether or not to watch a video. I’m willing to bet you didn’t make this video with any other reason than to help somebody. It’s just subconsciously wired into our brains now that any video title must “Grab” a viewer’s attention. I really did like the video though. 😂🤷♂️

Definitely get what you mean. A plus to doing it yourself is you can add more lights and if a light goes out you can replace it yourself. Thanks for watching!
