Self-control, self-discipline and self-reflection. Are the three ingredients of a dangerous man. Self-control has men stop doing an activity he already does, perhaps at the start or in the middle of it. Self-discipline gets men to begin a new task or project and stick with it. Self- reflection is when a man can identify success is a place of self value that just by being empowers others.

That's available for women too! Self control is the key to success in mostly everything!

I'm surrounded by godly men who are learning selfcontrol. it seems they have a healthy dose of self esteem, I enjoy being around them.I think selfcontrol is needed for women as well,however we need to embrace our intuitiveness our feelings and if we are in a relationship with a man ,his selfcontrol encourages us to be authentic, it all fits so well.i enjoy listening to you." So true. Men see authenticity very quickly and see its value. Some men are critiqued for discerning or prioritising mental health over other stuff. Men like this are trustworthy, which some women see as an asset, I suppose.

Thanks Sadia for excellent insights. I am using some of this to train my young daughter. Just curious- I have heard nothing about your background- in terms of family. Married, children? Muslim culture and UAE have clear expectations about women's roles. Most of them may not date and may have arranged marriages.

Then I have it but am left to dry up completely ...

Still wondering like so many here why authenticity is not the first thing you mention as the most important for men too. And women needs self control also ☺️ Otherwise they become those wild uncontrollable freedom feminists. Whilst having self-control as a men while doing stuff you hate won’t bringing you to your destination. At the other hand knowing who you are I.e. being authentic and taking actions from there will guide your self control. Otherwise having self control without “direction” is like a guided missile without the right guidance. Just “shooting” (word joke) and hoping to arrive somewhere. I think focus and being intrinsically driven is the key. From that comes self control. Men without a target becomes a target of problems.

Self control is discipline. Discipline can help a man improve himself in ways that make him attractive to women. For example getting a job, improving his physique or learning a new skill. Working towards these goals would invariably create opportunities for a man to meet women that might find him attractive in some way.
