I do value proposition design with my clients all the time but I never do it with myself. Big reminder. Thank you. I'm going to treat myself as a product and find those customers who I cab impact the most with my specific skill set.

hey Ran, how do you handle scaling up? 1. scale in terms of being able to take on more clients - typically you'd need to scale your team up for that, and 2. scaling by being super sought after and charging super premium prices because client just loves you and will work with no one else but you. Which direction are you heading at and why? asking these coz I'm facing these issues myself.

Do you think, as an freelancer, its better to see your self as a professional or as a buseniss man? Like for a professional work ethic is a top priority while for a busenissman the economic growth is. What would you preffer? Thanks

I don’t think that dichotomy is correct + if you are a freelancer you are a businessman whether you see yourself like that or not. The problem is most don’t see themselves like that, and end up running a bad business

Flux thanks for the answer. But lets say for example that your underestimate job size and now your hourly rate is decreased. Would you do less quality work to speed things up?

When the job size becomes too big, the key not to turn to shit or decline too many offers is to hire people. Also why would your hourly rate be decreasing if you have a lot of demand?

@@Hankyuo I was saying, for example, if you estimated 20h of work for a project and then gave the client a fixed price, but then the projects turns out to be 40h long.

Maybe if you use your own name then Agency will approach you, if you use Agency name then the client will approach you!

You didn't actually give any tips other than think about your strategy. Not any tips about branding whatsoever. The clickbait is unreal
