No what harmed her was Justin he is a narcissist it’s the story of the the best one, the one with the light that irritated the narc demon. She was abused and used and then she left and the narcissist married quickly after. This is the exact senario that plays out with narcs they marry fast a woman they don’t love. After badly hurting and injuring the the one with the light it’s really messed up. I’m sure it took every bit of strength, grit and breath for her to pull herself back up by the boot straps.

This is far from a mental break down this was years ago she was young and feeling insecure about her career witch we would all feel the same way if the only way we were noticed was from standing in someone else’s shadow so I can totally relate and understand her frustration and emotions she worked her but off for her age and it wasn’t “good enough” if it didn’t showcase a bigger star she knew she was good enough her friends and family knew she was good enough but she needed the validation through the people and her business representatives and sadly the people didn’t show up until the drama did but this clip is of someone feeling defeated and not “good enough”but most definitely NOT a nervous break down ok rant over ❤

She’d be my sister, my family. She donated her kidney to her, which changed her life completely. But people being upset Selena didn’t talk about it clearly don’t know that Francia herself asked Selena not to. Because she didn’t want to be known only as the girl who gave Selena her kidney. Selena has thanked her publicly so many times before as well. She doesn’t need to keep doing it everytime she opens her mouth. She’s pissed over something that honestly isn’t a big deal. Taylor is Selena’s best friend. Francia is like family. And Francia making that comment publicly when she knew how’d people react rubs me the wrong way. That’s my opinion. You don’t have to like it but you not liking it sure as hell won’t make me change it. Francia clearly has shit she needs to sort out. Selena comes out with a doc about her struggles with mental health, etc. & she turns around and causes people to attack Selena because she didn’t mention her when she asked NOT to be before. So, yeah… I think shes pissed over nothing. She doesn’t get to ask someone not to bring something up, then get pissed because she’s not mentioned as her best friend.

it’s insane to me that she didn’t understand how massively popular and successful she was without Justin. For me, I would have easily recognized her long before she was with Justin. That’s why I always found it weird that people thought so much of her “star power” was attached to him. Even selena believed that for a period of time. The reality is, she was just as powerful as he was, and that’s why to this day, people still can’t stop talking about them. It’s rare to have two strong talents in their own right, especially at that young age.

on another hand is well known that men success makes more impact than a lady's one because there aren't a majority of men that will remember, applause and take lessons from a woman years of their life. Also women age faster and have home responsibilities; that's how life is. She should accept that is over 30 yo,not a teen anymore.

I totally agree. I have seen Selena do interviews, like in the last year and specifically ask her fans to stop talking about her and Justin because she has moved on blah blah blah and they simply refuse to do what the girl asks them to do. Her fans never comply. It's awful. She will admit that the whole Justin thing is part of her past and she is healed and they won't let it go and they won't let it go. That has to be disturbing to her on some level. Very toxic.

I was literally talking to my husband about this. But the truth is each person is going through their own struggle. Just like people dying everyday, other's just never having a break and Selena feeling like she's not good enough is each person's struggle. As someone with ptsd, depression, and anxiety I do empathize with her. However I feel like she has made herself a victim in every aspect of life. She didn’t even give credit to Francia who literally saved her life. All she does is cry about other people’s opinions on her when literally everyone around her is constantly saying how amazing she is. It almost feels like she feeds off that attention and that’s part of why she made the documentary. I don’t know if it’s the child star thing or what but she just seems like she thinks her life is the worst and everyone should feel sorry for her. Idk. Just my opinion.

Personally, I’m my opinion, she accomplished that. Gaining the recognition and gaining the preside she deserves without having anyone else’s name associated to it. She accomplished this a long time ago in my opinion. Seriously. From her Disney career to her singing and then her cooking and acting. Selena’s name doesn’t need to branch off of someone else.
