It’s shocking how Selena keeps pointing out when her weight was fluctuating because I think most of us would have never noticed. I always thought she looked beautiful, and I still do. You can tell that Selena genuinely wants people to love themselves, the supporters and haters and everyone in between. Thank you Selena for staying true to yourself. Stay vulnerable ❤️

It is noticable, and its totally fine! Everybody has fluctuations (especially if you struggle with health problems). The fact that she talks about it is so amazing to me! Really makes me respect her more as a person. Usually its not talked about by celebrities, like its an elephant in the room, and the topic gets hidden. She really is amazing and looks great in every shape ♥️

The medication for lupus causes parts of her body (especially the face) to get swollen and I hate how people drag her for looking "puffy" when she literally has a serious illness. Also being on a skinny diet while having an illness is REALLY unhealthy so I'm glad she's not doing it.

I love how she also makes time to make music that go back to her roots and that even though she might be fluent in Spanish , she still makes the effort to include it in her music
I love how honest she is about her life & what she was feeling at the time during each picture. Her realness is why she is so adored. I'm glad her mental health is better because she truly deserves to be happy. She really is such a great role model
when she talked about how she realized that she had to stop chasing that 19 year old body really hit me. I'm going through a similar situation and she made me realize that I should be okay with my body changing.

this is the most I’ve been able to relate to a ‘celebrity’ ever. the way she said she was feeling is that of a typical teenage girl or even woman for that matter. we don’t always feel beautiful in our bodies and she was vulnerable about that. it gave me a lot of respect for her as a person and also made me feel a little more normal. we always picture people in the limelight with an ideal body and not being insecure but at the end of the day they have the same insecurities and emotionally bad days that we do. she expressed herself very well.

It's not just normal fluctuation. She's on medication that makes you gain a ton of weight specifically in your face that she can't do anything about.

Selena was one of the best shows I’ve ever been too. My aunt asked me to take my cousin for her birthday and I figured why not and I’ve never regretted it. She is an amazing performer and an even more amazing person with the most pure soul.
one thing about Disney ex-acts: they always want to prove that they’re actual grown-ups already. It’s just heartbreaking to witness all of that because it really seemed like their childhood was very traumatic

I think a lot of us experience some sort of trauma growing up. I'd say you're incredibly lucky to go through childhood without one defining traumatic experience. Disney stars just have the added stress of having to go through those same things while maintaining a perfect image through the most formatively difficult part of their lives.
