FYI for you guys who not giving sculptor oldman and emma different kind of sake for his and her background story, demon of hatred is him, thats why he disappear on the last part of the game. sum it up, ishin cut his arm only just to delay him becoming a shura, and demon of hatred is complete shura form of oldman sculptor. again from oldman story, sword that stuck on the ape was his friend's sword on his shinobi days who always carrying whistle, thats why u got whistle from ape, simply the ape ate his friend.

N-word Jim Don’t think he’s the sculptor. They just had the same fate, like it was meant to be/a prophecy, and maybe Sekiro will have the same fate (become a demon too) but they’re not the same person.

Ela you're a great speed runner don't beat yourself up so much. I know Distortion does a lot and it always just seems likes he's mad. Just because a run isn't perfect doesn't mean it's terrible.

Thanks bro! After watching this video I was able to beat Owl (Father) using a similar strategy of not locking on and dodging forward to get behind him. My fight wasn't anywhere as smooth as yours but I got it done by staying aggressive with lots of running around (+ Divine Confetti, Ako Sugar, and Fine Snow).

Bruh this run is way more interesting than any% like an first I thought they were interesting for different reasons like any% has cooler skips but this run has the same skips on the ng+ run and then the pure skill in the ng run of having to beat all the bosses it’s insane the medley this run is I can’t imagine the amount of effort it takes to complete a challenging game such as sekiro in only 3 hours. Mad respect

I’m on my 20th -22nd hr don’t remember exactly and I have finally started to get moving with this game. Just beat Genichiro and genichiro of the tome and I felt beyond pumped. This game for me keeps going in between the hardest from software game I have played to being the easiest with the blocking and deflections depending on who you fight. Anyone still struggling the trick for me was instead of having to time your blocks with enemy combos if you repetitively hit the block button that’s when you get get the huge posture damaging blocks once I started that began breezing through sections. Elijaz I’ve been watching your vids since bloodborne and this is epic run.

Best explanation I've seen for the sword in the ape's neck is the partner of the sculptor. The whistle ring is in it's stomach.

1:07:00 - those step counters unlocked against Owl were amazing to watch. You are incredibly consistent with them too, I don't think you got punished once. Impressive!

For the final bead it's much easier if you use the stealth sugar and puppet the sword dude next to seven spears, you won't have to die 2+ times lol. Awesome run man.

I personally prefer to use bestowal and just stunlock the second seven spears (it's likely well known information but I recently got the game and just finished it. Haven't watched anything else due to spoilers). It should be long enough to fill half of his second posture bar

I played this game on keyboard and mouse and quit it around second or third mini boss, as i was not getting used to the game mechanics at all. Few weeks ago my friend said to try it with a controller. Does it make combat easier ? I know i have to understand the attack patterns, time the parry and dodge but if i try a second run will a controller be preferable or it doesn't matter.

Wait, why use confetti against Owl (Father)? Does it really help against Genichiro / Sword Saint? And old Isshin? Is everybody just a ghost without me knowing about it???

There is a consistent way to fight the bull. Bait him into his charge and time your deflect hit twice and run away. It's the easiest and most effecient way

Does anyone have a sekiro save file I saved my game right before you have to choose between Owl and Kuro so that I could do every ending but the save data got corrupted and now I'm stuck with the owl ending which is the worst. What sucks is that I had all the items for the other endings. Word of advice: Create another save file before choosing

good run man! Not sure if you still "suck" at lady butterfly but if its any help - during the second phase, throw a shuriken at lady half a beat slower and she will always get knocked down I'm sure in your ideal fight. she probably wont even get the chance. Good luck on improving your run!

Just spam nightjar after dodging a few moves. I mix shuriken, deflect and nightjar. I Got her first try in my 2nd playthrough using this method.

Ruan Van Den Dolder its something specifically forcthe divine dragon as far as i know.

At 2:06:00 I think it might be faster if you use puppeteer on the sword add; you can then flank the boss using the puppet as a distraction and get a quick first bar, probably even second bar. Don't know if that's faster overall though.

I read a comment on another video that said it would be easier if you use the blood red cloud ninjutsu it would kill the add and blind the boss so you could use a deathblow on him

I tried this. The ninja puppet dies from a couple swipes of the drunkard's sword. Pretty useless.

Would there ever be a "no items/prosthetics (only gourd)" run? Would love to see some strats for some of the bosses that don't involve cheese.

I think he has those paddles on the back of his controller so then your thumb can stay on the camera and other fingers can roll/do face button stuff. If u wanna do without them u can try mapping roll and jump to shoulder buttons.

did u know in ghr vile hand fight u can reactivate your puppet. after u kill him go behind your puppet and death blow again he will come back

If you were playing on another controller with a normal stick layout, you'd be able to move and hit the d-pad at the same time. The SONY needs to redesign the left stick and dpad and put letters on the buttons instead of shapes. But nice run. That takes memory and skill.

This is a little late since you've probably gotten the answer but yes. Once you get the shelter stone and the flower you have to beat owl and then go pray in the tent to get to fountain head Palace

I think it's the best category (too bad it's not all bosses and mini-bosses)

they hide their left hand, since some of them use it to attack with poison.

You can also throw oil at rin and get a backstab on her could be faster than jumping on her.

So I'm pretty sure Divine Confetti does not do any extra damage to the corrupted monk. I've been posting this on other streamers play through as well because it seems no one can confirm it.

Corrupted Monk's first encounter does take more damage from the Divine Confetti. It's an apparition type enemy; so takes more damage.

@@OHMYITSLEON So I've tested it and I don't notice any difference. That being said, If it's like a flat buff or something that is small enough that I can't see it, I wont notice it. A few others have been saying they don't see a difference either and technically I think she's an illusion type enemy. I don't see her taking extra damage from snap seeds AND divine confetti.

@@Ankhebut Emma doesn't give a memory but old Isshin gives a different memory than sword saint, so he has to go NG+ for all memories
