Works on PS4 as of September 2023. For those having trouble at the long jump , after 20-30 failed attempts, I jumped just in the corner of the ledge facing the wall, and not the one facing the fog where you can get "stuck" jumping. I got it on second try and retried it after the boss and got it constistently every 3-4 tries.

This was so much more helpful than any other video

The trick is well timed pull up button. Your normal jump will never get you close enaugh in both jumps. If you press it well enough you get the extended jump and a but unnatural pull up animation. I cant explant it well but if you press the pull button(X xbox) in same delay as second jump button its too late must be earler. You will see it as a animation of reaching the hand out. So jump, second jump and moments later (not at the top spot of the jump) pull button. Your reach will be extended etc... That said you must be in correct area as vid shows.

If you need an indicator for the roof jump, you can look is Sekiro is falling or not, if he’s getting stuck on the roof when you jump you did it too early, and if you fall off all the way you did it too late.

Works on PS4, v1.06. First jump, press X and X + square together twice. Second jump, run and jump from edge. After beating Demon, you can walk up the stairs and look out to the reeds field of the final fight. Great view !

Still works on PC. 7/27/21 4 am. For the second jump, aim for the corner, and right before you go off the corner, while holding sprint, hit jump then hold x. I kept thinking you hit jump after you go off the top of the tower.

Practically up to the tower you cheese the game in order to jump in the air, cover more space and be able to reach the edge so you can use the grab frame to not fall. Jeeez, first time took me 20 minutes to manage, but at least now I have the method to reach Inner Father without going insane (Emma and Isshin are no problem)

To climb the tower, if you're timing your jump right a Hang Ledge promt will appear for a split second, you have to hit the button sooner than you think. This video had me done with this boss in under an hour. If I go for the plat I'll complete him properly in NG±. Thank you for the helpful video.

Lol I beat the boss normally and then I did this and it's really weird what happens to that area when it's not meant to be accessible. Parts of buildings that aren't see aren't loaded and even with that they all have collision and items are still found around there. I even found a spirit emblem

WORKS! October 2021. Here is how you get up: Jump at the watchtower at an angle; press jump the first time (x), then press X againa and as fast as possible press square. You should be hanging now. The press X and as soon as possible Square. Now Sekiro will climb up, jump, and grab onto the roof ledge. Once on the roof, sprint and jump while holding the square button. Let me repeat: HOLD SQUARE DURING YOUR FLIGHT TO THE ROOF. Good luck!

Still works today. remap the buttons to be sure to be always pressing GRAB. How and when you perform the jump has almost no importance, Sekiro will auto grab the ledge. Good luck shinobi !

This reliably works after anywhere from 5 minutes to about 30 for me. Which makes it 10x quicker than actually beating this bastard fair would be. My advice - for the first jump like he says, stay left. Higher chance of working. For the second jump, look at the wall you're aiming at, not your foot placement. Once you jump, don't panic - and press square/grab. Good luck!

I beated demon of hatred fair and square after learning my brother did. I spent one afternoon trying, and somehow it made Ishin more manageble. Today, I reached for it in new game + and questioned my brother about trying it, only for him to say "yes it is easy ". I look at him in disbelief as I think my bro is a monster at this game. He then explain the cheese and I look at him as he says this is how he did it. So after trying for 20 times to understand the climbing and 40 for reaching the wall. So now, I cheesed him and have no regrets. Need a cheese for lshin now🤣

@@memomyj4505 his philosophy is don't think, rather have no thoughts at all and you'll get it, the key to jumping it is to simply aim for the corner and seconds before you get off of it jump, he shows it as though you'll visually see yourself drop, for me my character kicked off the corner instead of jumped I hope this helps you
