even though I own this watch, I still watch videos of it every now and then, because i love it so much. It's my favorite watch!

Change out your crystal for a double domed with anti reflective coating. I did and I am so very very glad I did. Until you do you have no idea how truly stunning that dial is.

Shame on Seiko to have dismissed one the most iconic of the brand.

The SARB033 is a wonderful watch. I will never sell mine 👍

I thought I would never get a hold of one of these. I checked Amazon and eBay all the time, waiting for the price to drop to around retail. Last month I finally picked one up for $357 on Amazon. I now have my dream watch!

I have had my SAR033 for about 2 months now and I love it!

Bought one of these under $300 before Seiko's great blunder. I prefer it on a leather strap (Colareb or similar).

Your channel is my fav watch channel since straight to the point clear explanations and perfect video lenght...keep on the good work Sir

I almost bought one of these a year ago... damn Hopefully they make a similar watch with the new thinner movement they’re putting in the presage line

Thankfully got mine before discontinuation about a year ago. Planning on putting it on the Strapcode Super Oyster because right now it's on lizard grain leather. The single micro adjustment never gave me the right fit.

Best everyday watch. One year of ownership and it's the one with more wrist time.

Very nice watch. The clasp looked like it had only 1 micro adjustment. I think if it had a more traditional clasp it might be more appealing.

I have the sarb035 and love it . It is my summer watch . I wish I had got the 033 at the same time .

Great value watch, couldn’t get bracelet adjusted right always bit tight but great watch otherwise.

Hope I can find one at Christmas bonus time...

Hi Rob, any idea if the G shock G9000 with negative display discontinued? Or is it only available in select countries?

If Long Island had some in stock they sure af sold out quick..

Bought a SARB033 back in February before the price went up after their discontinuation was announced. Loved the smaller size but didn’t like the watch. The black dial just didn’t do it for me. The markers just disappear in the dial and it badly needs an anti-reflective treatment. I ended up flipping it in August. I broke down and bought a SARB035 last month before the prices go any higher. I wasn’t sure about the cream dial but I absolutely love it. The lighter cream dial isn’t an issue without the AR treatment. Wish I just got the 035 in the first place. Such an amazing watch. So glad I got one before they disappear. So many people complain about the bracelet with the gap in the clasp and the limited micro adjustment options, but I think it’s still a great bracelet for the price. Such a versatile piece that can be worn casually or in more formal settings.

@@kbeightyseven1783 Rolex use a matt black dial, whereas the Black sarb033 is shiny. I totally agree with dustinr16 having had chance to see both models. Although there is no denying the Black sarb033 is the more popular model.

Nearly, not quite. some ar coating and a screw down crown, more lume and possibly drilled lug holes.Although lug holes might spoil the look.

The sarb is without a doubt the best value seiko, also the size is perfect and the ‘replacment’ are all way too large

Was an eBay purchase

I've got the Alpinist (Sarb 017) and it's a great watch especially with a Strapcode Super Oyster Bracelet. I've got an Omega Speedmaster 38mm Co-Axial (Cal 3330/ETA 7753 WITH a column wheel &escapement) as well and to be honest the Alpinist is +6 seconds whereas my Omega is....+16. I'm quite disappointed considering it's COSC certified though it's being outshined by the 6R15. I'll never sell my Alpinist. Great watch and very accurate. It won't disappoint.

Still no fkn clue why they discontinued this and the SARG009 SO stupid
