Just held one today. Easily the best Seiko bracelet I’ve ever seen. Great piece all around 🙌

I wear this watch when I go into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Excellent watch and probably the best bracelet Seiko has ever made.

Lastly, I bought this specifically because of the type of GMT it is and it’s hard to find this type at this level of quality. They’re all the “true” GMT which I don’t love.

Love that you've started referring to these type of GMTs as caller or flyer. It makes a lot more sense. 🙂

I’m a Seiko fan, but recently discovered Wise. Picked up a beautiful Adamascus GMT with Miyota 9075 true GMT movement for $670 all-in, and it is awesome. + 1 sec per day.

Saw this at a shop in Japan, and after VAT credit, store discount, and Forex conversion, would have come out to about $1100 USD net. I now regret not snapping it up ! The details are beautiful, The fit on the wrist is excellent, and they did a very nice job in the design on respecting the original .

I really like the look of this Seiko, though honestly don’t care if it is GMT or not. But I have 8” wrist & 38.5 mm x 12.6 mm thick looked silly on me. 41, 42, even 43 would be great for me. Oh well. Thanks for all the info & reviews you share!

Mens bought Seiko like some famous brand of hand bags from women, every Seiko model have their charms that hard to refuse from men, but from my experience, the quartz movement is a better choice than any mechanical movement that makes under $2000 prices.

Very very nice old fashion watch,looks perfect,my only preocupation is the seiko acurracy...is it good or did loose 20 seconds per day like my other comun seiko?

I’d honestly pay somewhere around 800$ max for this watch. You can get micro brands with the same level of quality/specs/performance and with a Flyer’s movement for half price.

This is a beautiful watch and I appreciate that they didn't stray away from the original design but I'm sorry there is nothing about this watch that makes it worth more that $400 USD. If Timex or Citizen or even a micro brand (using the same movement) tried this they would be absolutely dragged. The conversation around Seiko's pricing strategy needs to pivot away from "well they're not the value they use to be" and go to "they are gouging us". $1500 USD is heinous and honestly just disrespectful.

All these people moaning about price, who mugs themselve off and pays full retail on a Seiko? This will be $7-800 on the secondary market or on sale at some point at a much reduced price.. thats the true value.

Worth 2k? No, maybe half. Seiko has outpriced themselves these days.

1500$ for this? They are nuts. I can get 3 microbrand watches that are better than this.

No one will desire these microbrand watches the same. You’re choosing an orange over an Apple. A typical collector who will buy a microbrand won’t buy this and vice versa. Of course they’re those who buy both kinds but it’s very rare.

Watch looks nice, I like it, but I don't like any of the 4R and 6R movements, I don't trust those movements.

agree 100 %. my 6R is a joke of a movement. We all can get an ETA or Sellita movement for that price and both will out perform the 6R
