🇨🇦 I too am a Seiko nut ! What you said about the feel of the watch on your wrist resonnated with me ! I am lucky enough to own a 'Fathers' watch ! I have a 1972 Seiko automatic Chronograph (Pepsi bezel, 6139 6002 Pogue) which is the love of my life (after the Wife) and I have had it from new for 50 years ! (the watch) LOL

Thanks for the revisit and showing me the uncle Seiko bracelet. One video editing note, go easy on the high contrast in video editing, a slightly flatter profile makes the video that much more cinematic, though it never looks that way while you are editing.

No worries. The bracelet is from Strapcode BTW. As far as the editing goes, I'll have to see how to fix that. I don't alter any video settings. Everything is shown as I filmed it; the only changes are some minor pans/zooms.

@@degenerateWA I thought it was a strapcode one! So basically the GMT will work with the regular SARB017 bracelets they offer? I have an SPB121J with a two tone strapcode and a SPB119 with an Uncle Seiko President... but also I have an additional jubilee and polished oyster bracelets for them that could use another "home" watch lol

@@wilkamania Yes, as long as the Strapcode bracelet is made for the Alpinist, it is compatible with any of them.

People rave about the Alpinist like crazy. Is it really that good? So its well appointed and tastefully done in all the right ways. I love the blue loom as well. Its seems awesome! I didn't even see the date window until you pointed it out. Was there a reason you decided to go with the white instead of say the blue or green? Bro you should do a collection review. I bet you have some really amazing pieces! It makes total sense. My dad bought me a Seiko Kinetic when I was 16 and it was one of the best watches I ever had. Take care man!

It's not so much that it's "that good", but it has so much charm to me in a way only Seiko does right. I went with this dial variation because it just called to me more than the other ones did. No other logic behind that decision. I've thought about a collection episode. I've done one before; we shall see🍻🍻

@@degenerateWA I get it. White is a criminally underrated dial color! No that I think about it it might not be such a good idea. Given how many bad characters are out there it might not be the best idea to list thousands of dollars worth of watches on the internet to strangers. OPSEC is applicable in more ways than one. 😅

It is the Angus-J "Louis" bracelet from Strapcode. This one is specifically machined for the Alpinist.
