Just subbed. I got a blue colorway of this watch, the AD couldn't discount a Grand Seiko Quartz 60th Anniv. Edition so he threw in the Seiko 5 GMT. Didn't have to pay sales tax, VAT for you and shipped free to me. The 5 gmt surprised me, far better than I thought, the bracelet isn't bad. Black looks good, maybe should have went that way, but have a few black watches. 7.5 inch wrist so wears well. This is a good watch to wear if going to a concert, or going to the beach etc... Yes there are better, but this is fine. Might give it to my son in law. Great review. Good for those who's budget is there abouts $500 or pounds.

Nice video, could be my next watch but needs a nato strap for me. Seiko on the wrist for me a Prospex SNE435 PADI the one with a red Minute hand. no sweeping hand though as it’s the solar. good fit on a small wrist

I like this. Not a fan of the cyclips, but a sapphire swap would fix that.

What you're reviewing is on my wrist! After having it a month I have to say its now my favourite daily watch. When I put on some of my more pricier pieces to go out I feel like I'm missing my 5 GMT!

@@igorz.3972 I went with black, wear it everyday just goes with anything. Before that my daily was a blue seiko 5 sport which i felt didnt go with many things. I think the real one is the choice between orange or black. orange looks amazing.

My first watch was a seiko, it was my dad's first watch. So I too have a soft spot for seikos.

I bought the “blueberry” version a few weeks ago, love it! Solid watch for the price (especially if you can find a cheeky discount code 😉). I thought I was going to change out the bracelet straight away but it has quickly grown on me.

i just bought this exact Seiko with the black dial and could not be happier with it

I guess you figured out why half the bezel surface is diffused .... of course it works with the gmt function to show day time and night time , the diffused section being day time and shiny is night time.

Crafter Blue makes an SKX/Seiko 5 vulcanized rubber strap that would look great on this watch. I have one of theirs on my King Turtle, and it's not left the watch since I put it on over a year ago. It's not cheap, but also not crazy expensive. I think it's worth it though. Bonus: That sweet vanilla scent. If you've not smelled your watch strap before, you just might with one of those.

Green Seiko Alpinist which runs at +6 s/d I won the lottery with this JDM from Chino Watch. I am off to Italy with it 200m water resistant, perfect.

On my wrist today, the original OG, moto 360 smartwatch all stainless steel.

Wearing the Tudor Black Bay Bronze grey dial today.

I think this is the perfect travel watch. It is not so expensive and I don't have to be worried about getting robbed 🤘

My experience with this watch was that its hardlex glass is easy to have a scratch. I changed it with sapphire for about 50 dollar, now I feel more confident when I wear it.

There are tests done by youtubers where it is seen that Hardlex is more resistant than normal mineral glass, for some reason Seiko uses it

Bremont Supermarine S300, White dial on NATO strap.. The watch that has summited all 14 Peaks in the world(Everest,K2, etc)..

I purchased this exact Seiko from Amazon for $256.00 (with points) and it was a steal

I didn't bother watching the full video coz I already bought it at a good discount truly bang for buck! 😅😆 So glad I got the matt black/grey instead of the typical blue (batman wannabe) 🤣🤣🤣

For half the price you can get a Devosa GMT which has an accuracy just as good and in my experience of wearing it almost every day for 2.5 years it is very robust. It can be obtained in white or black dial but no cyclops lens . I have Tissot, Seiko, Brathwait watches also

I think they are both very different. Totally different purposes for each but if I had to choose, I do have a soft spot for Hamilton!

I think the Seiko 5 GMT Watches are a real good deal for this price, but I don´t like the Cyclops. Will I buy one? I don´t think so. Wristcheck: Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium 39 mm

I like the look and how light is wears. Sometimes I think it could be a little more readable (I got the black dial) but that's the price for that darker look. Thank you for showing this watch in your some weeks ago.

It's difficult as they are very different. I feel the PRX is more dressy!

You might sell a few of them

The case is fat.. 42.5mm at the bulge...but the bezel is 40mm. So to your eye it looks smaller than 42.5mm

Good thing I only paid treefiddy for it.

This Seiko SSK001 could have been a great watch and a fantastic value if it did not have a major fault. Its major huge fault is that its poor bezel turn very easily, it does not have a ratcheted stops, so therefore it keeps rotating, turning, very easily and this of course messes up our GMT settings. Shame on Seiko's engineers and designers for this unforgivable mistake. I just bought this model and had to return it after just one day of use because of this huge weakness. Shame on Seiko for messing up a good watch.

I really, really dislike that bracelet. The clasp looks pressed. Why would Seiko pair a nice GMT with such an inferior bracelet. Seiko needs to wake up!!
