Yes!!! Was like nothing else back 20 some years ago. Games will never ever be this good in the present or future.

I absolutely love that people are still playing this game.

I still play on the Gamecube. It's cool that I can see, and talk to Dreamcast players in the lobby, even though we can't play together.

I always wanted to try the game when I was little after seeing all the billboards in SA2 .I played for the first time online last week around a similar time , thanks to a dreampi ,SD to serial adapter and PSO code generator. I was expecting no one online but all of a sudden 9 people showed up , I scrambled to get a keyboard to type but was too slow. XD everyone left, last thing I saw was someone said "let's play soccer" lol but was still awesome to see . I look forward to playing the game more and saving to get a better weapon xD

Being able to play my original copy of PSO ep I & II on my GC with a broadband adapter in 2024 is nothing short of amazing. The dedication from the devs of the various server projects is just outstanding. Long live pso !

I play it online Everyday! By the way I love in Japan and it is way more difficult to find someone online, not impossible but fore sure sometimes there is only me.

I played this online with my mate on retroarch ON MY PHONE paired up with a PS4 controller!

I'm currently trying to purchase Phantasy Star Online Plus for the GameCube, and reliving my teenage years with this game. I love my Nintendo Switch, but I'm kind of turned off by the future of gaming, as it begins to go digital. I'm going through my collection and playing older games from the GBA, to the SNES, to the GameCube.

I connected to PSO sylverant servers using my anbernic. Only did it a few times and it was slow and janky (assuming it was like this because I did it on my anbernic handheld lol)

Hey man, my buddy and I have been wanting to play SOOOOO bad, and we’ve tried some of the PC communities but none of them seem to work properly (at the time anyways). Does this run through one of those, or is this running on something akin to the original servers??? Would love to be able to play the OG PSO again EDIT I just realized you’re using Sylverant which I hadn’t heard of until your video. Definitely going to try this out! I’m assuming these servers all run on the individual systems (pc to pc, Dreamcast to Dreamcast, GameCube to GameCube)

Sylverant supports DC/PC (v2) and GC/XBOX (v3) cross-play.
