    what i noticed the way roonie played during 2010 and below his confidence was very high and his game scared people. but now his game is more professional and more careful because now he makes a lot of mistakes. but for me the king is still the king😎. when you hear the word "snooker" the whole world will the know "Roone O' sullivan" 😍😍 Sorry if my english is very bad. because I only translate from my language to English😅😅

    It’s funny… Ronnie didn’t win a world title until Hendry started to fall off.. In fact, none of them did.. Williams, Higgins, White, Davis, Selby.. Of course, Davis had already won 6, but all that came to an abrupt halt once Hendry started his dominant streak..

    @@WrxStud That’s my point, Hendry was way more dominant.. Longevity is remarkable, but Hendry did everything the Rocket did in a little over half the time.. Which probably led to major burnout.. At their very best, Hendry was the best.. The most dominant..

    It's hard to believe that Clive would call a player who fails to escape from a snooker an 'offender'. Laying snookers was never designed to turn your opponent into a criminal for failing to escape, just a means to gain a brief, if not frame winning opportunity. Foul miss should be placed back in the hands of the referee depending on the attempt. Playing practice shots to escape from a snooker has ruined the game.

    @@CesarMuroya I was wondering how important is the referee's opinion in the decision to call a miss? In other words, is there a great deal of subjectivity in the decision? Can the assessment of the same shot change from one referee to another?… That kind of thing… That's a recent rule, isn't it? I hope, Cesar, that you'll use (one day, maybe!) your teaching skills to explain all this to us! Thanks

  • @CesarMuroya

    @CesarMuroya

    @Frédéric Pelloud Referees expect that the attempt has the best chance of success: escape route, speed, etc. Therefore, decisions are subjective as there is no definition for 'best route' or acceptable error distance. The Miss rule is old, but refs call it more often today. I remember ref John Smyth calling a miss to Alex Higgins in the 1982 world final :)

    The title "Seeking revenge" got me wonder: Why is Carambole the only biljard game where the two players have different cue balls? In Snooker, maybe the second player could have the black ball (and another color was replacing the original black ball). And the opponent's cue ball could be pocketed like any of the colored balls, rewarding 8 points. And when all reds are pockered, all the colored goes next in the usual order and the opponent's cue ball goes last. Wouldn't that be the most degrading revenge ever... ha ha ha!
