love the Barry Otto..reminds me of his gorgeous moves in 'Strictly Ballroom' cannot listen to that soundtrack without thinking of his character..

@FUZZYisBIG If you take a look at the Seeker Lover Keeper website you'll see that this album was recorded in 2 weeks. If the girls weren't cooperating well they never would have got it together. The 12 songs on the album were all written by the girls for one another with particular voices in mind. Sarah Blasko does take the lead on 5 songs but she didn't want to, the other girls wanted her to. The harmonies in the chorus of this song are absolutely beautiful.

sounds a bit like an Ellie Goulding number.....Barry's dancing reminds me of his kooky dance sequence in Strictly Ballroom.

@MsJehosaphat I hate that all people can do is complain these days (I know I'm kind of complaining about people complaining but you know...) If you're really that passionate about not liking it then write a journal about it. Personally, I don't LOVE this album but in the long run we all have different tastes and we're always going to disagree with someone about theirs but acting like ours is superior to other's isn't going to get us anywhere.

@MsJehosaphat Dunno about you, but I got fairly sick of hearing "Edge of Seventeen" after about the five hundredth time my local radio station played it. Yes this music is simple, but the current musical trend is a minimalist one so don't go expecting huge rock riffs from an indie band. Also, heard of Florence and the Machine? Hardly dopey love poetry there, and her voice is anything but infantile. If you want modern, powerful female singers, try looking harder.

@MsJehosaphat you sound like anyone who's into music from a bygone era, i suggest you dig out your old suzi quatro records, and enjoy them in peace, because there is really no point irritating and offending people who enjoy modern Australian music. absolutely the worst waste of talent compiled together into an album. This music is like an all star team. 3 individuals barely cooperating together. It's a shame when one considers what these three voices could have done together if each song wasn't one girl + 2 back up singers.

i do respect and understand where you are coming from and yes to some degree i do agree with you, but other people like it like me do like the music but yes they could have maybe done a bit more with this opportunity. although they could have done more it is still very good. please do not kill me this is just an opinion

They wont, because (un)fortunately your a minority here, and it is highly uncommon for people, be it artist or 'critic' to launch personal attacks. If you really want to educate people, i suggest you stop being such a keyboard warrior, make some ground breaking, powerful music, that as you would say, has more of a backbone, and put it out there for the world to see, if you are as fantastic as you think you are, people will obviously be drawn to you and your music
