Queen is the best band, Freddie Mercury is the best frontman!!! They have so many great songs. You're going to love them all. One to react to "save me", live Montreal 1981. Another "white queen", live at the odeon hammersmith 1975. "Now im here", "Under pressure", "Another one bites the dust , all live at Wembley 1986.

I can't hear this song without tears of loss for what could have been if he hadn't been taken from us. He didn't have the diagnosis at this point, but supposedly he was feeling tired and in a lot of pain. He must have known something was wrong. People think he knew and that was what this song was about. It was written for the film "The Highlander," which, for those who may not know, is about an immortal man who is constantly challenged to fights to the death because "in the end there can be only one." He finds love and of course she dies while he remains young. So this song is not about Freddie knowing he was going to die. RIP Freddie, you were the greatest. ❤️😢

Nice reaction Chad. You are right, there are so many more good Queen songs (cca. 200) in the catalog and people never heard them or they did, but never knew that's Queen. Pls, jump back into the 70s and listen to the White Queen at Hammersmith 75. Their legendary collaboration is remarkable even in that early years.

Wembley @ 85,000 capacity. Tragically they did stay together until he "fucking well died". The song was very prophetic and is certainly true for everyone. Best live concert (Toronto) I ever saw and I saw many. This was for the movie "The Highlander" which was about immortal warriors. Another wonderful song from the story was a beautiful ballad written by bassist John Deacon called "One Year of Love" about an immortal who was afraid of loving someone because she was not immortal and would die and leave him. An interesting note, The Bee Gees "Saturday Night Fever" album and Queen's "The Game" album both reached #1 the same month.

Agree, my friend, except for the RIP. I can't even write that anymore. Freddie, who felt like sleeping and eating were wastes of time, is still exerting so much energy on this planet and beyond. Really, I can't see his spirit ever resting, and I mean that in a good way. I just think he's loving watching all these reactors keeping the Legend alive, and probably chuckling at some of our comments. One of the most bittersweet things I've ever read was how, in his final days, bedridden at Garden Lodge, he asked Mary to bring him some photos from his career. At one point he said to her, "I was pretty good-looking wasn't I?" And she said, "You still are." And I know, wherever he is, he still is.💛❤️

I am going to try to make this my only Queen reaction gripe on this channel. It's not a gripe about you, Chad. I love Queen. I love Freddie and Brian. I love that more people are discovering Queen all the time thanks to reaction videos. BUT...all the hosts are reacting to live concert footage. I know it's because they don't want their videos blocked or demonitized, or maybe no other video version is available, I get it. But Freddie doesn't always try for the high notes in concert; sometimes they only play parts of songs; harmonies are often weak on stage. Every new fan should be encouraged to listen to the studio recordings, too, because they are MISSING SO MUCH if they don't! End of gripe.

For over a year now I have made this same request over and over to no avail. I want you to react to a Bee Gees song from the Spirits Having Flown album. The name of the song is "Reaching Out".
