See how Russians and Chinese residents are reacting differently to a Putin and Xi alliance

CNN's Selina Wang reports on the growing relationship between Russian President Vladimir Putin and China's leader Xi Jinping as they deepen their alliance by signing an economic deal and sharing similar views on the Ukraine war during the second day of Xi's visit to Russia. Then, CNN's Ivan Watson reports on the latest from inside Ukraine. #CNN #News

The only reason why China and Russia are in a form of friendship is because the two dictators depend on each other to remain in power. The two wants to help each other to wield unlimited power and wealth indefinitely. How can the US be bullying, when it’s helping a free country like Ukraine to defend itself against illegal invasion by greedy Russia who wants to expand its territories across Europe. The US is bullying simply for helping Taiwan to fend itself against China’s threats and aggression with forced takeover and invasion. The US is considered a bully for helping Philippines, Japan and other countries a round asia to defend their Exclusive Economic Zone from China’s expansion in the South China Sea. The real bullies are the dictators who pursue expansionism and conquest, and make threats of invasion over much smaller countries, and harassing other countries planes and ships in international waters and airspace.

How nothing is coming back? China is actually the largest trade partner for Russia, do some research. And because of countries like China and India Russia's doesn't give a two sh*t about western sanction, without the two massive countries Russia's might aswell be on recession by now, with all the sanctions coming from the west. Just as Xi said partnership with China is about a win-win situation for both the parties, unlike American who're known for grabbing somebody else belongings through threat or by force if needed, always plays by thier rules at thier whims even to it's own so called allies. And gripped by western culture you might want to look up Russia's geo-location, history, politics, culture and tradition etc. You 2(two) may belongs to the same race, i mean (majority of the countries population in the countries) "White or Caucasian race" as an Asian i would say there's nothing much similarities in terms of culture relation. Even in terms of religion they're orthodox, while you (westerners) are Catholic, baptist, evangelist, church of christ, Jehova witness etc.

China's essential position is respecting sovereignty and not letting private companies from outside manipulate their people , its the government that decides what are the businesses that are best for its people , and they definitely share the view that western intervention in Ukraine politics was a main driver for the war , but now their problem is reconciling this concept with Putin's attack on Ukrainian sovereignty , is there concept now a sovereignty in place or sovereignty as it was before the war ? .

It is well within China’s power to become everybody’s friend. It would have little trouble forcing Putin to withdraw from Ukraine, now that it can offer Russia an enormous boost of its economy in return for compliance. That’ll improve trade relations between China and EU enormously, as well, since it can offer EU instant peace and instant expansion of trade opportunities with both China and Russia, at the same time. China might even want to help speed up Ukraine’s integration within the EU and NATO. China is not picking a side here. It is striving to disarm both sides, in order to strengthen its own position in the world. It will try to completely ignore the US during the entire process. It will have to. China has lived through Trump, and is now experiencing Biden. Who is going to be running the US next? For a large country with an authoritarian tradition like China, the U.S. is too unpredictable over the long term, to be accepted as a partner on the world stage.

Russia is not leaving those states. "if you can't get it on the battlefield, you won't get it on the negotiation table." China won't support Russia' annexation but withdraw an army with talks is impossible. Unless the reason for Russia joining the war has removed, like nato expansion, then the argument Russia should withdraw becomes valid. It is more like EUs patience is running out, they need somebody to delivery the message other than themselves, otherwise why would Xi jingping even risk doing such stupid move which has 99% failure rate.

They are not siding with Russia. Why should they? They don’t have to side with anyone, since they are the biggest player on the scene at the moment. They are almost in a position where they can force other nations to decide whether to side with China or not. They will have placed themselves in this position for good, as soon as they will have managed to force Russia to retreat from Ukraine. Of all the great powers, China now wields the biggest carrot, and the biggest stick, over Russia. Not to mention the military might of Russia and China. 🤦🏻‍♂️We did it to ourselves trying hard to segregate Russia from Germany. We allowed China and Russia to form their de facto NATO, which includes Iran, North Korea and Belarus. Ukraine is a regional conflict. Odds and ends, compared to what was mentioned above.
