Worked for my Masterlock bike lock! The dial wiggle was something this video explained that other videos don't.

Holy crap, out of all the lockpockinglawyer videos and others, this was the only one I saw that demonstrated the “wiggle technique.” This was the only method that worked from start to finish!

Still having problems? The key is to pull out / push in the lock each time you change numbers on each wheel going from left to right. The correct numbers are the ones that result in the most looseness.

My nephews reset the combination of my Firefox bicycle lock. Saw all the youtube videos telling how to open it without the combination code by pulling and looking for gaps or hearing a metal click while rotating the numbers... Well, don't waste your time because both these options don't worked. Then I thought of cutting the damn lock, but didn't have any tool at home. But I do have swiss knife like the one shown in another video and ample of time. Looks like cutting is the only practical way to get rid of the lock. Nothing else works, especially if it's a good quality lock and a bit old one.

thx this really worked. my friend forget the code for his so I took it home and finnaly did it with this tutorial.

They must have fixed the wiggle issue. New lock and these are tight not loose like the one your showing.

Leatherman wave cutters will get through it in 20-30 seconds as well

jtchett that's a bummer. More than likely they just used bolt cutters though. No faster way to remove a lock than that unless it's designed to withstand it.

I suck at this

I’m planning a trip to Europe. And this specific lock just came in from Amazon. This video was not helpful! Even with all the commentary for dummies, didn’t help. Unless the whole point was NOT TO BUY THIS SPECIFIC LOCK. Then this video hit the mark.
