I recently learned that my maternal DNA is 99.7% Bamileke. After watching this video, I had goosebumps because I can see every aspect within myself, especially my survival instinct, business instinct, and land ownership.

@DW I am bamileke as well. I would say go with some of the famous fons(cheifs-historic leaders). My younger brother and older sister bare the name “Ngandeu” and “Pagod” I have meet many bamileke specifically from the haute-kam with those same names all over the world when I came across bamilekes. It’s a way to pay homage to ancestors that moved the needle.

The currency of the African man from time memorial has always been trust. Other communities especially in the North West region who kept this currency sacred moved to create what is generally known as the NJANGUI. The NJANGUI began predominantly by women clusters and moved to men and today involves not trust individuals coming together but trade groups, businesses, educational circles, political circles and more.
