Thanks for your great content. I've been breeding Ellioti cichlids. They are great parents but once they are about 3 weeks old I move 3/4 of them into their own 50 litre tank to grow out some. You are right quite a rewarding experience.

I’ve just hatched my first fry, White Cloud Mountain Minnows, and they’re growing happily in my shrimp tank. Such an exciting process, and I’m looking forward to raising my own fish and shrimps from now on…

Another great informative presentation, thank you. Am I right to assume that it is just an air pump line inside the foam filter tube? Regards, Tony.👍

4:54, still learning terms. what did you mean by, "mature"?
@AquascapingCube

It means that I'm waiting for the nitrogen cycle to finish (around 2 weeks if you are using everything new). This is why you can hear sometimes about "cycled" tanks. Nitrogen cycle is the time when beneficial bacteria are colonizing your filter, hardscape and substrate. Those bacteria are important to keep the water safe for fish.
Im debating whether to get 12 or 25 litre tank for Chilli rasbora fry, you think 12 would be fine ?
@AquascapingCube

I think that 12 would be fine because Chilli rasbora fry is super tiny. Depends if you have any plants for the future, if you want to breed something else, or keep them for the longer period then I would go for 25
Can you please tell me where you got this tank the dimensions are perfect for my room

I bought it in my local fish store. Company that makes them is called Diversa. I can sometimes see their products on Amazon.
Opinions on a 20 gallon(75 litre) for a grow out tank? Not for newborn fry but for fry that is about 2 weeks old. I don't want them struggling to feed.

It seems a bit big. But you can try. I move my fry to bigger tanks after 4-6 weeks depending on the species. You just have to be careful and feed them a little more - and keep it clean from food leftovers at the same time. Good Luck!

Hey, How did it go? I’m on day 14 and I was thinking the same size for my angel fish fry
What chemicals to put in to the water to make the water safe for the fry
@AquascapingCube

I don't use any chemicals. Just aged water from the tap or sometimes from other tanks. I sometimes use methylene blue for the eggs to avoid mold, but not for the fry.
I have spawning black mollies and Mickey mouse platies,
