Is my first time viewing I just want to stop in and say it what an amazing man amazing man like you are hard to fine , I mean no disrespect to your wife if you have one .. well I was going to move out to the country my significant other passed away 2018 and that's something I always wanted to do but I'm here in an apartment grateful thankful don't get me wrong I'm so thankful that I have a place to live but how I wish I was out in the country just gardening and playing with their taking care of animals and living life until Christ comes back praising him worshiping him reading his word obeying his word and still living life watching his beauty all around and the plants and the birds and the sky how amazing..

I have been trying to have the land ploughed and prepared for planting well in advance of the season but without success. Here in Jamaica there is just no help for start up farms or small farmers but I am not about to give up. Bless you

Me neither but I was hoping for a large one, The deep mulch gets all the credit. Today I planted slips off of that one in the same spot. We will see if giant sweet potato slips make even larger sweet potatoes.

The deep mulch and the life in the soil really does that. I had a neighbor come by to see this new way of gardening...He brought out rubber boots as it had just rained that same morning. When we got to the garden he didn't have to stop and put on the boots and he was amazed that we could walk. His tilled garden was over ankle deep in sloppy mud that would harden to a brick by the next day. Thank you for visiting my garden.

@@waylandsmalleycomeonletsplant I try to grow as many heirlooms as I can! And mix medicinal plants with my crops :) it's not huge but big enough to share some harvest ! Most of our property we use for our therapy horses for kids in our community ❤️

Thank you and welcome. Believe it or not, the only thing I do is put down heavy mulch. I do not use any fertilizer. I have several episode about the mulch and compost if you are interested. I really got tired of weeding and the mulch takes care of that and the side benefit is health soil and nice production.

But I never knew that it would be this effective on sweet potatoes alone. I'll check out your other videos on your method and thanks for sharing this info.

Yes...Long story, but my friends bass scale is not in calibration. I thought his fish stories were inflated. Anyhow we did get a calibrated scale and that big one is actually 8 3/4 pounds which would make last years actually 7 1/2 pounds when adjusting for his scale. I was going to explain that in the final harvest episode. Thank you for visiting.

I just have the voles that eat the roots and my moles are only after the worms and grubs. I am trying to repel them with castor oil and it seems to be effective. Thank you for visiting my garden story.

Hi and welcome to my garden. Not really funny but happy like a suprise gift. I think it is because we cant see the progress of growth and it could be nothing or like what we found. I feel blessed and can't help laughing at the good fortune. Thank you for taking a few minutes to visit.
