The lady did a great job. Every time she said trash I was so proud of her. The only way to a decluttered place is to throw things out or donate. I hope she enjoys seeing the decluttered space and is motivated to do some more. Great job.

Sorting stuff is a hard job. I helped an elderly woman who sold her house to get everything out: trash, things to give away and to keep. This is such a time consuming project. Getting to the end the piles of trash or even give aways were rapidly growing. For jobs like this, when so much isn't garbage and is sale worthy, I would say you need to get in touch with someone who does resale. There are people who empty lockers/storage units and sell the stuff in second hand markets or on ebay. Someone like that might agree to just come and collect the things and this way they can have some profit and you and the person you help can know that you don't throw good stuff away. Good advice. Trying to sell them yourself is more then a person realizes! Takes a lot of space too I know this after having an E-bay business for several years.

Great job! I found the cleaning of the baseboards and dusting her jewelry boxes satisfying! Also the dresser. Boy was there a lot of dust on the dresser! Eeek!

That pink plastic container would be good for organizing her nail supplies. It could slide right under the dresser or nightstand so it's easy to reach, and it would protect the contents from dust.

Well done Barbie for helping this lady. Now she may realise a lot of things she has are not the worth of listing on eBay and all the bother of packing and sending on. Could I suggest you suggest to them a ‘donate’ pile; as most of her belongings could have been donated. 2 or 3 pairs of current prescription glasses are all that’s needed, etc.

I enjoyed this cleanup! This is the kinda stuff I like helping people with when I can, because it's always easier when someone else is there to help sort. On your own, it takes forever and you can't see the mess because you're so used to seeing it in that state.

Such a clustered room, declucttered very well. Owners have certain sentiments towards objects, you did a right job. Love to watch more. Kudos to you barbie 👍

Good job, Barbie. I'm so glad all that dust and powder (?) is gone - it couldn't have been healhy to breathe! I liked the floors in that room. So much *stuff* though. I always think of the throw-away stuff going to a landfill somewhere and we can multiply that by millions of people. Our poor Earth! Do you find that Americans tend to have a lot of excess stuff? It's a good idea to have the different categories when going through stuff: Rubbish, Sell, Donate, Keep. Good luck to this lady on her recovery and going through more of her things.

No, it's weeks. Believe me, the old buildings are full of grime and cracks that collect grime. With all that clutter, I can easily see dust collect to that level.

I've never had enough money to just buy, buy, buy. I think that I was lucky if you don't buy you can't hoard. One more thing -- that was one noisy little vacuum cleaner. LOL!

But we don't become happy, healthy, beautiful... They say "Oh, it's your fault. You have to BUY MORE!" But they actually don`t want us to be happy. They just want our money. If we became happy by buying their stuff, we would not buy more of it. _They sell wishes, not their fulfillment._ If people live with a lack of happiness, they easily believe the lies. If you have a lot of similar stuff, for example nail polish or bags, put them into a row from the most loved to the least liked. And then throw away the least liked half. You don't have to put them into garbage, you can gift them to homeless people. After my father in law passed away we found about 50 tubes of shaving cream in his bedroom. They all were good. We gifted them to homeless men who were really thankful.
