Then you truly don't understand SDA's. The Bible is our final authority, not Ellen White. God did however use her at the beginning along with other pioneers as a movement. I believe Revelation 12:17 & 19:10 & 14:6-12 & chapter 10 predicted the coming of the Adventist church on the scene of history. I will say again and emphatically: ELLEN WHITE IS NOT THE ORIGINATOR OF SDA DOCTRINES. Do not compare her with Mary Baker Eddy or Joseph Smith. And we are NOT a cult. When you're talking about Ellen White, you're talking about the real deal -- the genuine gift of prophecy that functions among God's people throughout the Bible was manifested through her life long ministry. There were many eyewitnesses in her day that left reports about her as she had on more than one occasion was found in vision. Some visions would take more than an hour. They reported that there was no breath in her when she was in vision and while her body was there with them, she like John the apostle, was wrapped in a world different than where her body was while in vision. She was simply used by God to prepare a people and the world to come out of Babylon. She's nothing more than a humble servant and a faulty human who was privileged to receive the prophetic gift. All of our doctrines come straight from the Bible. Not one came from Ellen White. She simply confirmed the discoveries what was being discovered by Bible students and pioneers through hours upon hours of Bible studies. Also keep in mind, 2 other persons received the exact same first vision she received. Some people today even accuse her of using other people's visions. That's a ridiculous argument. What about the 2 persons before her that received the first same vision? Which one of the 2 was lying? And how is it that both (not just one) testify to what Ellen White saw in vision.

How about a video about Desmond Ford? There's been a theological crisis in the SDA church since 1980, when Pastor Desmond Ford was disfellowshipped for pointing out the Investigative Judgement doctrine is not based on scripture but on a mistranslation of the 1260 day prophecy in Daniel. The word for day meaning a prophetic year was not used in that prophecy in Daniel. Instead the word for a literal day was used in that prophecy.

Yes, but it is not for Ellen G white to claim to have the spirit of prophecy. She spoke and preached heresy. The faith was fully delivered 2000 years ago. No new revelation needs to be given. Moses told us to listen to the prophet to come. On the Mount of transfiguration, when Jesus was flanked by Moses and Elijah who represent the law and the prophets, God said "this is my son listen to him". Jesus did not tell us to look forward to another prophet to come. The foundation of the church is gospel message given to us by the Apostles. If another comes preaching a different gospel, let he or she be accursed.

If we know her history we would not speak like this. We will humble ourselves before God and He would speak to you on this. She is the prophetess of our era. If those two men who were called first had obeyed , God would not have called her. It's not for anyone of us to be speaking this way. God does not force anyone to believe anything they don't want to. I am still unconvinced that Steve's motif for attacking EG White any different from Rhea's as I listened to him presenting he seemed quite upset by positions taken by the SDA Church. He said he was removed from his church despite an assurance to the contrary by the leadership, yet he said he was not upset with the church.

However the way he explains is utterly honest, also he is not being sarcastic or making fun using this to have a stage etc. Very lovely and likeable man. Thankful to him for providing all what my husband and I have been fearing for years, both having grown up 5th generation SDA. Some SDA scholars say EGW's "Health Message" is the plagiarised writings taken from Methodist health and temperance books published in the 1700s/ early 1800s. Walter Rea an SDA theologian published a book called "The White Lie" in 1984 detailing those plagiarised passages and quoted the original paragraphs from those Methodist books. Similar things are said about The Great Controversy. A book that's mostly the plagiarised writings of well known theologians of her day. The only thing General Conference has said in response to this stuff now out in the open thanks to the internet is that plagiarism wasn't illegal in those days.

The SDA'S don't keep the 10 commandments . They support abortion and actually practice it too . Their hospitals perform abortions for any reason . Your permanent head damaged (PHD)guest needs to assess his own pathology. What are you offering as the alternate to.our SDA beliefs. Will heaven be occupied by you and your 100 people versus the 144.000 plus multitudes who will inherit the kingdom?

She also took ppls money after preaching fear and terror of the end, took the money and bought a house for herself and her family. After nothing happened she didn't return the money and wouldn't help the ppl she deceived. I was blind like you, I preached her. Even though I had nightmares from her tttc series as a young teen. Also, he only mentions his book, when ppl ask. Clearly it's not advertising. If it was, I wouldn't like it, but it is it normal these days, I guess. However he clearly doesn't do that.

Borrowing information from other writers does not make her work any less genuine. And also, she could not have copied whole books. Isn't this part of term papers in college? Much of what we write will come from already published works. This doesn't mean we just copy and paste. That's not what she did. Most of what is in each of her books is her own words sprinkled here and there, and she takes a few words where she deemed favorable the words of another. But the finished product is her own. SHE DID NOT PUBLISH OTHER PEOPLE'S ENTIRE WORK. To make this claim against her is to exaggerate and is cruelly dishonest. For example, how did Luke get his information? How was he to compile his gospel report? Was he dependent on what was already published? Why are there four gospels have several parallels? Who copied from who? In one place they seem to contradict one another? Were there two demoniacs or just one? Why does one gospel mentioned one but not two, while another gospel mentioned two? Did Matthew really write his gospel himself? Did Paul really write the book of Hebrews? Why do scholars disagree among themselves about who wrote it? What about the 5 books of Moses? Did Moses really write them as we have them today? Did God actually spoke and wrote the Ten Commandments? Or, was it just Moses who plagiarized from the Nag Hammurabi law code records already in existence? Did Moses write about his own death in Deuteronomy? Oh wow, I guess we must dispense with the Bible itself. How can it be trusted then? Can we still trust the gospels? Did one have a sinister purpose? Can we still believe the Bible? I say all this to show how unfair and sensational people can be in attributing sinister motives and assassination of the character of others over misunderstandings. People do it even to the Bible. How can we be surprised that it's being done to her. Name one true prophet from the Bible that did not face misunderstandings, opposition and even hatred.

EGW claims her writings are based on visions from God. That is the issue. SDA interpretation of the Bible relies on what EGW says scripture means.

How you know Dr Steve that she was decieveing people and was copying other people book The great controversy book is talking exactly what is taking place today and what is to come. And the bible is saying the same thing in the book of Revelation. No Sunday law you said? So you not seeing what's taking place in our world today Mr Corney. The bible speak about what is to come before Christ come. And the signs are all showing And he said when you see these things life up your head for your redemption draweth nigh. The whole concept of adventism evolved through a failed prophecy of 1844. The plagerism in her writing r evident if u look u will find it,.is the three angels message the Gospel message? Why wasn't it preached by any biblical prophets. How where when in revelations 14 does it say Sunday law. What r u seeing in today's world. Isn't it apparent that secularism is taking over. The Sunday principles apply to who? The churches who worship on Sunday. Does that include Muslims who worship on Fridays, atheist, Hindus new age, Hebrew Israelites who keep the Sabbath, who don't believe in the new testament, wat about persons who don't even go to church. The world we live in is no longer ruled by a religious institution. It's all Incluvism, Christ is no longer the primary focus. How can an Antichrist legitimize a specific day to worship Christ. Is that even logical. Again error begets errors How about not being able to buy or sell hoe does that scripture slign with Sunday law how would one identify if ur a sda. Use wisdom. This gentleman is venturing on conspiracy based on a psychological observation erected upon long held bias against Ellen White. He points to Walter Rea as having been the opposite of him, but this does not in any way prove what he is saying to be facts. Walter Rea was simply from the opposite extreme who became disappointed when his erroneous exaultation of Ellen White proved to be the wrong way to look at her. He was disappointed when he finally realized that she is indeed human and can often give counsels based on her opinion on certain matters. For example, though she stated that Christmas is not a biblical doctrine, she still gave an opinion about how one could celebrate it without the pagan and worldly trappings. Now, I don't agree with her on this, but I simply acknowledge that she gave an opinion to those who had come to her asking questions about it. Do I have to go by her opinion here? Of course not. Is she a false prophet for advising this? If I decide that she is a false prophet because of that statement, that would be still my opinion against hers.

Stop being in denial, it time to do some research, I'm sure ur pastors tells u don't watch these programs even quoting scripture. But u here any. My colleague who I sent the link of this broadcast said the very same thing. That should be a red flag. If wat u know is the truth one shouldn't be fazed by watching or listening to other arguments. Unless if ur truth is actually not the actual truth

The term conspiracy theories were instituted by the crook special, intelligence, CIA and FBI's who became exposed, they sought if fit to protect their image deem the evidence against them conspiracy mm. So far a lot of so called conspiracies r becoming more and more actual facts. Mmm just something to think about

I don't need to comment on what people think or says when they are DISCOMBOBULATED. Satan is the accuser of the breathren but he is a wise accuser but these men are so so fools to even convince an infidel. These men are to be met an oppose; not because they are bad men which I think they are, but they are trying to place upon false hood the stamp of crazyness. All I have to say about these novices is: THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. And that what you guys or up to. Is this your message to save sinners. YOU GUYS ARE SO SELFISH AND COVETEOUS. GO FIND A DECENT WAY TO SUSTAIN YOUR SELFISHNESS AND LEAVE GOD'S PEOPLE ALONE.

True @T.J, I do agree with you 100%, there is a lot of pettiness here in this video, in building a mountain out of an atom, I would like to challenge Pr. Courtney and his friend, to come up with very clear interpretations of all prophecies, a clear interpretation of the book of, Isaiah, Daniel and Revelation completely different from Ellen White's interpretation and revelations, then we study carefully word by word and compare our notes diligently so that we know what's God's true church and we have a clear direction, then I will listen to you.. but basing all your arguments purely on Ellen White did this or did that, does not add up, it is a waste of time, what next then? What is your true objective? What is your aim? Are you trying to form a separate internet church? With subscribers as your congregates? And sustain yourselves by asking us to view and subscribe to your channel just listen to your alleged scrutinies of Ellen White as you secretly earn from this? I leave it to God to be the judge. Because if we scrutinize the lives of you two, your every word and action both in private and public, I have no doubt, you will be weighed in balances and found wanting. But as an Adventist, I have never got a clear revelation from God in His Word than I have from the writings of Ellen White. The Bible too was written by finite men who were led by the Holy Spirit, what if we began scrutinizing them one by one with this kind of pettiness, especially in their private lives, will we believe in the Bible? When the Bible acknowledges that "Prophet Elijah was a man of like passions..", does it mean he was a false prophet? What does it tell us? All prophets were human, but God used them as they humbled themselves before Him, when they repent their sins privately to God, it is not documented. How about Hosea? Marrying a prostitute? How about Jonah? How about Solomon? Then if we judge them the same way we are doing with Ellen White, then we are in danger of accusing God Himself. We need wisdom from God and the Holy Spirit to understand His Word and His Will. Jesus said, "Be wise as serpents but humble as doves". Or else we will be carried away by every wind of doctrine. And that's the devil's plan for this generation. Let's be warned.
