My atmakarak is sat which is the lord of 9th and 10th house. I'm going through sat Mahadasha. My darakarak is jupiter, sitting with lagna lord venus in 2nd house and in 7th house of D9. Neither I've a stable profession nor I'm married at 46. So I'm confused if really astrology works.

My Jupiter is darkarka , very true! I get proposal from many people who are wealthy good looking! But that spiritual knowledge higher wisdom is missing! Mediocre mindset! I am not going to compromise on this come what may ! If you can not respect, look at them with high regard inspirational, its futile to allow anyone in life just for the sake of getting married! For me my spiritual evolution, journey on it is far more imp than anything!

I know of a person who has venus darakaraka with mercury n ketu in 4th in Gemini. No attraction was ever there in marriage. Wife is not at all artistic no compatibility throughout life. Guy was never that attracted to her physically. It's common so so marriage.
