The physics are usually the exact same between rom hacks, so yeah wall clips are easy in whatever rom hack you're playing

I love the small little modifications they made, especially the parallax scrolling backgrounds. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that in a Mario 1 ROM hack. I’m sure I’ve seen that in Mario 3 Rom hacks before, but never one of the first game.

Can we all appreciate a pro speed runner that also has to hit every hidden block and check all pipes, Kosmic you spoil us 😁

The timer is slower because it actually counts RL seconds and not Mushroom Kingdom Time Units, which is also the situation in New Super Luigi U.

(Luigi's "Supershow" voice ) - Mario, you're hurt! You needa a super mushroom!...

This looks so cool. Only wish I have is that the super fast timeout music didn't play, because it gives me anxiety. But my lowkey favorite part is totally the more modern Luigi color palette from SMBDX. I always hated turning into Fire Mario colors on the NES.

This is not true. There are only 3 player Palettes in the code. There is one for Luigi, one for Mario, and one for fire. PlayerColors: .db $22, $16, $27, $18 ;mario's colors .db $22, $30, $27, $19 ;luigi's colors .db $22, $37, $27, $16 ;fiery (used by both)

I'm more surprised that it was pulled off without special enhancements chips (such as the MMC3 or MMC5). Though if you notice in the level design, the clouds are on their own top rows in the levels, allowing for them to be parallaxed without scrolling the whole top of the level

i accidentally jumped through an invisible block and end up in my bathroom one day, was really confused for a minute

Not sure if anyone else commented, I think the short invincibility power is from the Score. 50,000 for the first, 75,000 (it took a brief sec after achieving)… again at 135,000…then rough around 154,000…it’s just an educated guess… not sure if there a hidden meaning or reference… Looking forward to watching more content. 19:10 yes, and there's nothing back there, 20:09 you cannot make it over, 11:34 you would get stuck on top with no way to get down

Now I'm left wondering what would have happened if you tried to "get small fire" in that castle after grabbing the small fire power-up.

I’d be curious to know what Luigi looks like if you got small fire using the glitch. The power up didn’t give him the fire palette like the glitch (presumably) would.
