this is why im so hyped for this film. i saw the purple-y cracked hexagon things and i knew they were starting to get into the alternate realities in a science way instead of the magic way that was in No Way Home. they're starting to realize what Thor said, that Magic is just science that has not been understood yet!

It would be cool to see Loki v Kang using teams of heroes Really glad The Marvels came out to FINALLY tie some of these concepts together it feels like it took forever 😩

Whenever I think of Wong speaking about magic skirting the known and unknown, I think about the narration Thor hears as he’s about to meet the Grandmaster: “Sakaar. Surrounded by cosmic gateways, Sakaar lives on the edge of the known and unknown.” If the hex jump points are weak points in the fabric of our reality, I wonder if that would also apply to the numerous cosmic gateways that all lead to Sakaar? Maybe that’s the planet where the incursion first occurs and it’s the warning to all other planets in our galaxy that something is happening. Or maybe Sakaar will serve as the foundation for Battleworld?

I think the battle lines will be in Kang Dynasty not Secret Wars. The incursion chain reaction goes crazy in Kang Dynasty and it boils down to the last two universes that leads to X-men vs the Avengers but Kang takes advantage of the situation and uses the destruction of the multiverse to create Battleworld to survive the destruction. In Secret Wars it'll be about the conflict on who gets to be the one to reboot the universe Kang or whoever I think Loki will pick.

I don't believe Kang will be the one to create Battleworkd; in this one aspect I expect them to actually follow the comic storyline of DOOM being the one to claim victory. (though Doom might not be from 616, but rather from the X-Men side, but still recruiting Strange from 616)

@@sinteleon I more think Doom would be better served as a future villain then trying to be faithful to the comic because in the comic he is a established character with a lot of history whereas in the MCU he might only pop up in one movie.

So basically folks, you can except Secret wars to be big Mortal kombat tournament with marvel heroes, villains and everything in between for the fate of Intire multiverse

I'd note that while the timelines are shown as a tree of life in Loki, they DO converge at the trunk before branching back out. That may be symbolic of battleworld where all timelines are converged at that point before being spread back out to grow and prosper. Also still think Doom will hijack Kang's plot for battleworld the same way he hijacked the Beyonders' plot to destroy all reality, with the Beyonders in this case sort of represented by the Kangs.

i think they're hoping to portray Doom as an empathetic villain that would piece back the shards of a shattered multiverse after Kang destroys it.

I think you should explore a couple of Deadpool's abilities, 4th wall breaking and knowing he's a fictional character. With the time band maybe he expands that power and Loki recruits him to start collecting heros.

You answered your own final question. Deadpool and his time device are (possibly?) Outside of Kang's influence.

I hope they follow Hickman's Secret Wars story. If they do Doom could be introduced to the MCU

I'm even more excited for Deadpool 3, now. Hopefully people will realize we're only getting 1 Marvel movie next year and actually go see it instead of waiting for the streaming release date.

I think everyone is too obsessed with Loki's monicker as the God of Stories. What about how the final episode set him up as Loki Loaferson with those cute shoes?

I think Dr Doom likely comes after Kang, Galactus wouldn’t really be a big bad, though he’d definitely be a major force against the F4.

I think Dr. Strange is with the X-Men right now. Disney+ is playing episodes of cartoons combining Avengers and X-Men.

I think as the Gid of Stories, Loki will only be able to influence the war but not directly battle with any Kangs. I think he'll only appear to anyone by using his magic.

@@omaranthony3703 I'm 55, so let me give it a shot and try to answer this question. :) The most popular superhero comic of the '80s to at least the mid- '90s (I read somewhere that if Marvel had *just* published X-Men back then, it would still have been in the top five publishers) became an animated phenomenon for pretty much all of the '90s and then became one of the best live-action superhero movie series of the '00s (and today, too!). So the popularity is inbred; few people in the United States don't know Wolverine. Fans always want their childhoods, and "X-Men" as a term now conjures love images in the minds of Gens X, Y *and* Z. So the idea of Marvel at its best integrating these characters into the world of Chris Helmsworth and (returning?) Robert Downey Jr. is beyond exciting for folks. What I'm still trying to figure out is this, and I'd appreciate help, KZread: how did *The Fantastic Four* become so popular? Is it just that the Web needs a vehicle for enthusiasm, something to champion? The four-time-loser-in-film FF (and adjacent characters such as Galactus and the Silver Surfer) hasn't been hot to anybody in decades, so why do people care so much about the coming announcement of FF casting as I type this? Is it the same obvious answer here--the integration into the worldwide MCU phenomenon? I guess (?).

@@omaranthony3703 X-Men comics, animated series and the movies were all hugely popular compared to the rest of marvel, only Spiderman and the top DC heroes has been consistently more popular than them before the MCU. It was due to the movie rights that marvel started focusing less on them, since the characters who actually could appear in the MCU were more profitable for them.

The “multiversal” war as described in Loki will be the battle between timelines (not universes) and we’ll see that in Kang Dynasty. The actual multiversal war (between universes) will be Secret Wars. The hex thing is interesting because clearly it ties to the 6 infinity stones that are birthed from big bangs.

Well, it's definitely going to involve the TVA at least. If you remember, Deadpool was messing with the time watch at the end of DP2. That seems like a perfect excuse for him to be captured/end up at the TVA, though not sure how Loki Season 2 would impact that

It would make sense for Loki and the TVA to recruit some supers. Duplication and Astral projection have been part of Loki's base powerset since that start of the MCU. If the Kangs start attacking the TVA to get Loki it would help to have a few Thors on the Team.

Incursion will be occurring throughout phase 5 and 6

This movie definitely set up the biggest roadmap to the Multiverse Saga in the craziest way possible.

I would assume that the jump points never caused incursions before because He Who Remains was there to monitor when anyone would use these points. Now with him gone the connections of the multiverse are less stable.

If Loki and Mobius are in Deadpool 3, then it is either set before Loki season two or they are alternate reality versions.

So many projects now have tackled some sort of multiversal problem but also have solved each problem. So how can the Secret Wars movie have any pay out

It’s complicated. Imagine the mcu as what it is irl. Film reel. You can look at each image as a moment in time. To the characters in the movie it’s linear but to us outside of it it’s all simultaneous. So someone from the tva before the loom got destroyed and someone from the tva after could both go to the same moment on the timeline. It’s like. Before the multiverse existed and it was just the sacred timeline multiverse travel was never and would never be possible in the mcu. Then after it formed it always was and always will be.

I like the answer you got, but I always think of it as TVA is its own separate capsule of time. So TVA happen no time while everything happening in the TVA happens from the beginning

And they did leave it open for a while while battling The H.E. too. You'd think being that large and held open for so long would do something to space/time

People need to reatch Thor2: Dark World. Odin tells the story how Maliketh created the Ether aka reality stone(liquid) as a weapon. If specific characters are being set up to either create or control infinity stones by Secret Wars then to keep the continuity straight, Maliketh would need to use Wanda as a weapon at some point.
