I love the paper towel holder for the foam head! I've got another idea that you might find you like even better! I buy the cheap reddish colored toilet plungers at the dollar store. The foam fits perfectly and you can suction it down to your table so you can get a little rougher! Also, if the wig has curl or a certain style, it will be gone when you steam it. You will have to put a style back into it if you don't want it straight, but you can do that with hot rollers or an inexpensive curling iron on low. If you curl it with the curling iron once you take the curl off you have to clip it or hold it until it's completely cool. You have to think of it as curling plastic. Once the plastic is heated and in the shape you want it, it has to cool in that position also. You can also use the Helen of Troy round brush blow dryer for lack of a better word. It's the only one approved for non Heat wigs because it has a plastic barrel and the others have metal. You can buy those small curling irons at Walmart for less than $5. I find the little one works well for me on short wigs, but I need the bigger one but inch and a half that is about $13 at Walmart. I buy those short metal clippies to clip it in place to cool. The Helen of Troy dryer, is by far my favorite to refresh wigs who have gone flat or the permatease is starting to show because it's starting to break down. It is about $20 on Amazon, that's when I bought it Amazon prices jump a lot LOL sometimes I'll buy something and two days later it's $20 cheaper! arg!

Yay! I've got a Noriko Jackson looking rough! She's not been worn so much that she should be trashed, she's just been around in a closet for 4 years and I don't take the pest to care of my wig. They have a shelf in a whole pantry and I turn them wrong side out and toss them in. I do not have a place where I can store them all on wig heads and unfortunately I am not one of those very organized people who would keep them in their box all the time. Myself wouldn't even fit all of their boxes and I would not be satisfied with having to move the boxes out to find the one I want. I wish I was more like that but in 3 weeks I'll be 55, and it's hard to change your personality like that. It's not just a matter of habit. I have what I have dubbed, affectionately, flat surface syndrome. If there's a flat surface, I'm going to pile chit on it! I don't have a coffee table for that very reason!

I came to one of your videos because I saw one of yours in my lineup a video suggested. I wanted to specifically ask you if you've had the experience of losing a lot of hair and it growing back. About a year-and-a-half I started losing handfuls of hair and ended up losing right at half of my hair. I've always had thin fine hair because I have polycystic ovarian syndrome as many of the women who visit your channel, I imagine. Over the last few years I've but several wigs at cysterwigs.com and a couple on eBay that I wanted really badly but couldn't afford retail price. Anyway, I said all that to ask this... Now most of that hair is growing back because my initial hair loss this time, what caused from malnutrition. I had been obese or morbidly obese since puberty. 5 years ago I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy and lost about 50 lb along with about a third of my hair from protein deficiency. In a vsg you don't lose the weight you do with a bypass surgery, for example. Nothing is bypassed and you absorb everything you eat unlike a bypass where you have malabsorption issues, but you also malabsorbed calories. So not all food in becomes weight gain. Anyway after the first 6 months you don't lose weight without really working at it especially since I was already 50. But at 5'8" I wish hanging out about the 185 to 190 lb range, and I was somewhat satisfied with that. As most people with PCOS I have narrow hips and legs so I was wearing about a size 12 jeans and some tens so I thought I was doing good since I had one is 20 or 22 and at one time was 320 pounds and was wearing pants as big as a 24 to get them to sit around the middle if they were horribly baggy in the hips and legs. Then the beginning of 2016, 3 years after my vsg I was given a medication for pain in my neck caused from a disease I have. It was called Topamax and it took away my appetite completely. I decided to take advantage of that and try to lose about 50 pounds since I had crept up to 204 lb. I started taking a small handful of blue green algae pills for breakfast, blue green algae pills for lunch and a bowl of Cheerios with the Fairlife milk that has twice the protein and half the carbohydrates. I guess I thought that would be plenty of nutrients. The blue green algae has quite a bit of stuff along with some carbohydrate for your brain to work. It took me about 7 months to get down two awake I wanted to be, because the doctor told me I needed to be 150 lb. And someone took a picture of me in a short summer dress sitting on my mom's sofa. My legs look like toothpicks and my size 11 feet look like ginormous he's attached to the end of them. Since I'm top-heavy my face change the most and it look gaunt and old and tired. I noticed my personality had changed drastically and I felt angry and aggressive most of the time. I did research on the Topamax and found out it's out of Black Box label and it is a devil pill LOL it's also one that you can't just stop taking because the effects on the brain can cause seizures. I didn't see the doctor who prescribe them for 3 more weeks, but I was determined to be off of them by then and begin tapering instantly. It said that my memory problems may never come back, and since the main problem of Topamax is not being able to remember nouns, and it's also something that happens to you when you go through menopause, and I was doing both! I could not remember what the name of the chair was or something that simple LOL I'd say you know that thing that has four legs and you sit on it! It was just almost every other sentence I couldn't think of the word. It is better now I've been off of them for a little over a year, but I I got back up to 155 before I got off of them. That seem to be the perfect weight for me. I could wear a medium to large shirt, which was great because of my huge Barrel abdomen, and was wearing a 4 to 6 size jeans. I was always going to have those long skinny leg because of the PCOS had change the distribution of fat on my body. I guess it's really the insulin resistance that does that, but the insulin resistance is caused by the PCOS. After being off of that and being my ideal weight, my brain decided that I was like everybody else oh, so I could eat like everybody else! I started drinking real dr. Pepper and eating chocolate. 4 to 3 months it did not affect me in my weight, so I must have actually increase the amount of sugar I was taking in and then I was totally addicted. Like heroin! At one point I had crept back up to 180 lb! I couldn't do that after nearly a year starving myself. I went on a 3-day bone broth cleanse and to my surprise the sugar addiction was G.O.N.E!!! That was not long before Christmas and I have eaten too many sweets, and have to do this again next week, but I am back down 167 lb and wearing my size 6 and 8 jeans. I've decided that I'm going to work really hard this month to get down to about at least 160 and be kind to myself as long as I am keeping my way between 155 and 165. I'll be 55 on the 21st of January and my goals is to be in that range. I weighed today and I'm back up to 169, but that includes Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve which was another Christmas celebration with my daughter and granddaughter. I'm not beating up, this is a new week and a new year. I can still wear a size 8 jeans and if you told me that when I was in a 22, I would have been happy and I'm not going to complain at all because I remember people complaining that they were wearing a size 8 and how fat they were getting. Anyone who struggle with their way and especially for 40 years has been around plenty of thinner people who complain about how fat they are and how it makes you feel. I am so sorry that I wrote this much, I can't believe it. I am so passionate about all of this that once I start talking I don't know when to shut up. Part of my issue is I live alone LOL and I love to talk but sometimes I don't see other humans for several days in a row. I guess sometimes it just all spill that in a comment . Since we can talk and our phones type for us! Anyway, I guess I can finally get to my question if anyone or you are still reading. Lol like I said it's been a year-and-a-half since I lost all that hair and the doctor told me it would grow back but not all of it would. So now I have hair that shoulder length or longer down to my collar bones, and hats my hair that is about 3 inches long and looks and acts like kitten hair. So really the only place I have full amount of hair is that my scalp, but I can't find a way I can wear my hair without a wig. If I pull it up in a ponytail everything that's not in the ponytail, which is plenty, we'll all be sticking straight out within an hour. It's so fine and frizzes so easily it stand straight up all over my head. If I blow dry it and flat iron or curling iron my hair I don't have as much as she's with the short hair except at the very front, but you can see right through this again and it looks like there's something really weird with my hair. I tried to use dry hairspray on the ends to try to make them look fuller, but that didn't work I tried to use clip-in extensions to make the ends look fuller but my hair is too thin to cover up the track in the areas I would have to clip them. Any ideas? I don't mind so much wearing the wigs in the winter, but sometimes they're hotter in the winter because when you go into places people keep their cheat more more than I do at home and it starts causing me to have terrible hot flashes. And I come in from the cold into an extra warm house or business and it takes me forever to cool off from the inside out and not have sweat running down my face, which is embarrassing when it's 12 degrees outside LOL. here in the South or having a terrible cold snap and we just don't know how to handle it.
