A lot of women wear a lace front back behind their hairline with their hair sticking out the front like that. But with a lace front there is no need to have any hair out in the front because the lace mimics a natural scalp. Women don't realize that when they do that it's obvious that they've done that and you could see the line where the unit starts. So it begins to look like a hair headband it looks pretty ridiculous.

Since my real roots are blonde, . I find wearing the rooted wigs too jarring for me as the rooting is usually far too dark. It would be nice if wig manufacturers made more dimensional blondes though. Your videos are great and very helpful :). Thanks for the wonderful tips!

Jon Renau always does a very dark lace front, but Raquel Welch mixes both the lighter and darker shades on their lace front hairlines, which are more natural and not so perfectly straight.

I agree I like the rooted. However since I am a natural blonde. So all the rooted wigs I’ve purchase they were always too darkly rooted. I am stunned by the fact that wig companies due not realize this and correct this problem. Because wigs are back in a big way. There are so. Amy Cancer pattens who need hair. However there are also women who just want to give their natural hair a break. Wear a wig or experiment with having a different color hair. So they go to the wig to see how a color,cut,hairstyle will look on them before actually dying their hair causing ore damage to their hair. I hope some wig companies see this and listen. Hi thanks for this comment! Make sure to measure the size of your head before buying any wig. The size of the wig cap has a lot to do with issues of slipping off or moving around. You can also bobby pin your wig to your head for extra security if the wig has open sides and back.

I find it's best if the wig isn't too perfect looking. I use a little water for the flyaways. A wig that's too flat and smooth is a dead giveaway.

Just part it on the right. If it's not a mono filiment, it won't look that great. All you have to do it try it.

I don't think you'll need a cap stocking with short hair. People usually wear those when they have long hair they want to hide under the wig. I have short hair, too, and just put it on.

I see a lot of people glue their wigs down. My problem with that is at my forehead, I have a v. My hairline comes to a point. When I wear a wig I have to pull those out should I not be doing that?

We don't recommend plucking your hair out on your forehead, you can usually pull your wig down over your widow's peak and nobody will notice!

@@maryhoglund5034 There's no difference. The difference is the person and if you're older and don't like it, a hair dresser can trim it up and make changes to it if you don't like it as is. Watch some videos of Taz wig reviews and Crazy wig lady reviews on youtube. There are plenty of older women doing reviews so you can see wigs on them.

I have a question please! Every time I wear a wig cap it seems to bunch up under my wig! I have tried the small hair clips and bobby-pins but, eventually with all day wear it is in a ball at my crown! Any suggestions? (I have only tried the nylon wig caps would mesh be better?) Thanks~

Rhiannon, this happens when the cap doesn't have anything to hold on to because clean hair is very slick! Try spraying your hair with hairspray or gel to give it some grip, and then try adding your wig cap with bobby pins!

I only wear a wig grip and that's perfect! The wig doesn't move at all and I'm really unexperienced as I started wearing a wig only a week ago 😊 I also am very pleased that it feels less strange on my head than expected. (the cap) The amount of hair will take more time to get used to

To me the wigs looked too obvious. They didn’t look natural

My thoughts is thinking about falling off the wigs falling off and you know when I came here in a car with the windows down the falling that blows off your hair is blowing off or any wind and you're when it's really bad out the wig blowing off or something how do you keep that I mean how do you keep it from blowing off like if you're in your car and you're like if you have of convertible what do you do do you not wear a wig

Pin it on if you have hair, if no hair use tape it or holding, I've went to ski boats, parasailing, convertibles, motorcycles, for those events, use a bandana, roll it, & tie tightly.

Wig cap is another word for mid evil torture device.

I think roots look like your hair dye is growing out and your roots are showing. Especially when my skin coloring, eye brows and eye lashes are those of a blond.

Can only pull,ur own hair out if wig is exactly same thickness. It's not that simple., wish it was.,bedt try on at wig shop ,

that last wig is terrible.
