Unfortunately, side/dash step has been nerfed. You can still do it, but you generate way less ki/vanish/card draw.

You need to make another video for the post patch to this issue. The reason why is because there is a way for a player to use a vanishing gauge and instantly attacking you, destroying the vanishing mechanic for the offensive player( being you the offensive player). I want to know how to do that my self so please address the issue and expose it.

One more note: When you do the dash forward+step w/ Ki cards, you gotta be at least mid-range or close. If you're far range, the opponent will have time to recover. Keep that in mind.

By the way, what you explained about the side step between strike cards, there is an easier way, the game will do the side step if you swipe during the strike card animation.

Technically it’s not spamming sidestepping can regain your key and gives more cards other then spamming cards

I like the fact techstepping makes me move act and move more to do good damage in the game. I do, however, think that it needs to be just slightly nerfed because some characters are insanely broken with it. They kill a unit in one go if given the chance.

You should teach people about the shoulder jerk. It’s when you vanish you opponents attack and pause until you see them try to vanish and during the animation you attack

Do a ki blast When the enemy side steps. Swipe up And swipe left/right

The last time There was a strategy that allowed you to use more than a max of 4 cards it got patched so I hope they let this one be because if they patch this getting ki is going to be very hard without charging.

Yeah, but I mean to be fair, I don't really think it should give you the option to draw cards by sidestepping, that just makes it kind of unfair. But hey, if it's there I'm gonna use it! Only on Rating matches though, casual ones? I don't even use RR unless the opponent uses it first.

i know that this video is outdated, but i know how to tech step with ki blasts. you gotta swipe while the character is throwing their last ki blast before the animation is over and they’ll automatically swipe once the animation is over

The instant transmission occurs when someone attacks while you charge it. It's basically a dodge.

How do you dash forward

I get players who use this and I lose... but what I noticed is that there’s not much of a decrease in your rating points after the game. They just usually deduct 10 points and below or even 1 point.

The funny thing about this is I just learned it from watching your fight with Riku. I was paying close attention cuz I thought y’all would do it just naturally

How do you stop yourself after getting knocked back? I can knock someone back after an attack then they are able to stop themselves and dodge my attack. It's about to piss me off.

I was playing pvp for a while and saw people do tech step and then I put into my combos it is amazing. I am having a problem with the ki blast side step for dashing forward and sidestep (used to using only strike side step). Also do a video against viewers

Ki one is a bit more difficult. Note that you have to use it at mid-range or close range, otherwise they'll be able to recover.

I’m still tryna figure out how people can lag and recover their vanish right after vanishing, all rating matches it happens to me

You can strike attack and get closer to the opponent and side step then use strike or ki blast card then do all of this over and over

I pretty much copied the habits from opponents. I've even learned how to lure opponents to use their vanishing timing their side steps to attack on time so they won't vanish. Also I've learned that when they vanish they wait for me to side step to do the same but instead I attack. It's all about timing. Had battles where tough opponents don't even touch me.

I don't really suffer bad ping if I lag it's usually the opponent doing the switch lag exploit.
