Coincidently enough, I went straight from this video to a favorite streamer of mine, and at about 1:20 in his newest video - kzread.info/dash/bejne/fqeLmtSjk9O4qKw.html - he appears to use a charge step to chain a strike card, which goes against the advice in this video. Does it work only because the opponent fails to capitalize on it, or does p0mzor just have that insanely good timing, or...?

@@jasonpopps7336 Short answer is: No. Longer answer is: No because it provides no benefits over sidestep... Sidestep is far superior to do after strike card. Provides more ki, less chance to drop and recovers some vanish

Nice video but I already know this! Best is charge step after blast as it give you 9-15 ki all depend on ki speed recharge(it no matter if game lag as to easy do it right just look at you’re ki after get 5 ki press next card as it may seem you got only 5 ki but in really you get 7-9 ki, Then sidestep after strike it give you 2-5 ki same depend on ki speed recharge, Tackle step is only good for time waste as it do less damage because the game have damage reduction the more combo you do, so use to reduce swipe time to full 10 counts, Regular combo is give more damage but only if you you have just 3 cards as less combo more damage but it more vulnerable to combo break and it harder to break combo to catch Boujack and other combo break mechanic, to win you need outsmart opponent and make him use vanish by tap strike and blast or regular blast on long range, there of course perfect vanish that give you free combo but you need predict opponent game style as you need vanish before you see (i) but it work only against cards and not tap attacks that why on high rank most player try bait you with tap attacks or make you side jump to catch you, Side jump bat habit so try lose it, yea I know it hard as we human and we can panic, it really easy to catch side jump all you need is use you’re ears as you hear “ha, ho, aa” you can press attack and you gonna catch opponent in mid side jump so never do side jump in middle range as you can cough with blue card or tackle that can be vanish, tackle let you vanish even against strike card on less second but only if you got to opponent unit face if you still in middle tackle it easy overpower by strike card so if you press tackle after you hear “ha,ho,aa” you can make opponent use vanish as even he press strike you have time to vanish, Same goes for tap blast on long range do it twice can make opponent vanish but only if you do blast card after one tap so opponent go for perfect vanish as perfect vanish don’t work on tap attacks it way to outsmart this mechanic, There also two tackle in a row after a combo as first will connect but second give time for vanish or pressing strike but because it kinda done after opponent getting out of a stun animation it give you time to vanish his counter strike to do you’re perfect vanish for another combo. The game have a lot of small tactical mechanic so hope you do video where you cover all this things as maybe I could learn something new

It is wrong to say that chargestep is the best. All of them are situational. Most used as of now is tacklestep as reseting to neutral really fleshes out who the more skilled player is

How do you guys process characters? I read what a character does and they have so many things that when I click off I forget some of the things.

I wish Legends had tutorials about these, would help avoid the misconception of it being an exploit. It's hard to call anything an exploit when the game says "This is a thing you can do, let me show you how to do it" As a somewhat new player, the first time I saw sidestep, chargestep and tacklestep, I thought my PVP opponent was cheating. The only combo I was shown was the basic chain. No AI opponent used these techniques, and the few times I had tried to do anything that was not a hit, like Ki Charging and try using another art, the opponent would vanish. So, when I saw my opponent get away with charging mid combo, I got confused. Maybe its an ability of this one character? But, when he did it with a character I owned, I realised it was either a cheat or a mechanic that King Kai had not explained.

I think I'm decent at doing combos specifically keeping my opponent from reacting. For example switching after losing side step and keeping them from hitting me. However my issue is when they do that to me I don't really know how to counter it

I don't know why but I can never get charge step down, either I constantly fuck up when trying to swipe forward, or my combos break. I just suck at it

What helped me with charge step is I wait for the poofy ki explosion at the end. Basically as soon as you see the poof, swipe forward. Getting the forward swipe timing down is critical.

I actually prefer to mix chargestep, sidestep and forwardtackle. Don't even touch the sidetackle tbh. But good content, many people will appreciate this info

I would love a mechanic to dodgefake like swipe left...*instantly swipe the other way* to either stop a sidestep or fake the opponement

yo nas how you enjoying the zenkai youth goku event? the grind obv sucks but i think its really cool they added this for F2P players. ive grinded the shit out of it lol im at Z6 halfway to Z7, but only about half of the boost panels unlocked (i did make sure to unlock both extra uniques), and i gotta say, even with half of the boost panels done he is a BEAST on son family in PVP, his endurance is amazing, he also nullifies endurance, hes a great support unit giving extra damage and ki to allys on swap out, and at Z6 he gets wayyy more extra damage buffs and card draw speed, i honestly wanna say hes one of the best units in the game right now (at Z6 and above atleast). whats your thoughts nas? keep up the good work man i enjoy the content :)

lol PS im all out of skip tickets (i somehow actually ran out of skip tickets before energy tickets) and the grind for super souls is a BITCHHHHH lol. i dont even mind the zenkai souls i can do adventures for those, id say grinding up the super souls for unlocking the beginning of each zenkai panel is the biggest grind for me right now lmaoo. oh well we all got 17 days left i think i should be able to finish by then

And with the sidestep combo coverchange is harder for the enemie and sometimes it doesn’t cover so I can’t do it and the enemie rapes me in pvp with in it and that frustrates me and I can’t sidestep correctly more bc I am frustrated and so will contine on loosing every fight in low Platin elo

You’re probably not doing it fast enough

Half my matches are laggy btw lol. Always that slight lag. And is it common for the exclamation mark to not appear when my opponents are attacking while I should normally be able to vanish? Edit: also just found out I was on battery saver mode. I really deadass thought this game just was good on ur phones battery just to go online and find out it caps 30 fps and looked in game and there it was, turned on mocking me.

usually its the row you are in when your last attack finishes. blast attacks push enemy to mid row and strikes push them to long range.

Honestly I hate this tackle style of play it reminds me of the old days of side step. It was just a game of who slips up first and then its game over. I actually would say I like rising rush better than tackle step.

You should revise this video, now that times have changed.

There is an incorrect way to do the tackle step. Dont start with a blast arts. ALWAYS START with a STRIKE arts or a Tackle. Doing so with a Blast can often lead to a miss timed tackle attempt at long range causing the user to instead do a tap blast thus losing the priority they just had.

*DaY oNe PlAyEr HeRe* lol nah I've been playing for a fat while now and there were a few things I didn't know, however you tend to forget the basics in battle. Edit: man do i miss the days when side step was broken and you were able to literally one combo a character(depending on the team composition of course)

This combo are only possible if you have strong Wi-Fi connection....... Without great Wi-Fi connection advance combo are not viable to any fight or will be hard to pull....... Bad news to poor signal player......

EXACTLY. The charge step is complete bullshit. Ki charge in db games and the show has always worked like a tactic to charge energy for you but leaves you open for the enemy to attack. Charge step literally lets you charge energy and do extended hits. The game itself doesn’t show it in the tutorial so the sweaty gaming betas who cant play the game normally found this way to totally abuse it’s use in order to win.
