I love how this show sets up mistrust and mystery, not just with the shapeshifting thing where you wonder who is who, I also mean the words and plans. Like the submerine in episode 3 that was about to launch on the UN plane, and Gaya said that it failed, but Gravik said, "I didn't fail. That plane would have been valuable, finding the traitor was essential." So its like... Gravik might be playing both sides, now don't hold me to that, because at the moment I thing that he is trying to help his people, like they want a home and for their race to survive and thrive as it once did, but maybe later on they will show him as just some maniac that is more obsessed with war than his own people, but anyway, Gravik sets things up to where no one can really know what it is that he is trying to do, like... that skrull who was in the submarine as was going to instagate the others into launching at the plane he took the key out immediately when it was aborted, so he might have known that this wasn't the intended plan, but for arguments' sake, let's just say that none of the other skrulls knew about Gravik's real intention for the plan, like the one helping with the plan and the ones carrying out the plan, and the council members and others who he has told his plans to, say that they actually believed what Gravik told them about firing on the UN plane, they think that that is the plan, but in reality that was never Gravik's intent and he expected the plan to fail so that he could find the traitor amongst the skrulls, so the ones that he told his plans to they actually believe that the plan has failed when that was never Gravik's real plan to being with. So it turns into a situation where it is like, when Gravik gives a plan it is then like, "Is this really your plan, or is there something more to this that you arr not telling us?" Because right now you cannot take anything that Gravik is saying at face value, most likely there is something more there, and I like that, because it builds up suspense and distrust in whatever is said and implemented.

Fans of the show expressed their disappointment with the latest episode, feeling that it was a deliberate attempt to undermine Nick Fury's character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). They believe the show portrays Fury's success as solely reliant on the assistance of the Skrulls, leaving him devoid of gifts, intelligence, and self-reliance. One recurring concern is the decreasing episode runtimes, with this episode clocking in at just 33 minutes of content, leaving little room for significant story development. Fans argue that longer episodes, as seen in shows like The Witcher, allow for a deeper exploration of the narrative and a more satisfying viewing experience. Shorter episodes, they argue, diminish the show's quality and hamper the storytelling. Criticism is also aimed at Fury's actions in the episode. Despite being aware of Priscilla's true intentions and Rhodes being a Skrull, Fury refrains from taking decisive action against them. Fans find this out of character for Fury, who is known for prioritizing the safety of America and its people. Additionally, Gi'ah's character is perceived as irritating and lacking a clear purpose in the show, leaving fans questioning her relevance. The overall pacing and direction of the series are considered lackluster, failing to deliver the expected spy thriller experience. The primary antagonist, Gravick, is seen as unremarkable, even with a new power upgrade, leading fans to believe that Marvel is diminishing Fury's character by having him struggle against an underwhelming opponent. Fans express their disappointment with the show's portrayal of Fury as a weak and ineffective figure, unable to adapt to the changing world after the blip. This shift in characterization is disheartening to viewers, who feel it undermines Fury's established persona as a strategic and foresighted leader. Furthermore, the decision to kill off characters like Maria Hill, Talos, and his wife disappoints fans. While recognizing the Skrulls' formidable abilities, fans believe they could have been overcome, making the episode frustrating to watch. Some fans speculate that the real Nick Fury might be elsewhere, suggesting that the character in the show could be a Skrull or Life Model Decoy (LMD). This speculation is fueled by the knowledge that Fury will appear in the upcoming film "The Marvels" set to release in November. In conclusion, fans express their disappointment and frustration with Marvel/Disney, acknowledging that the writing of the show is generally good but finding this particular episode lacking. The shortened runtime and questionable character choices, particularly regarding Fury, contribute to the disappointment and the perception that the show aims to diminish Fury's character.

i think it was such dumb choice to make Thalos break the glass like that. They literally showed him breaking a chain lock back in episode 1, he could've easily pulled or ripped off that door. Now he got injured and died, trying to break that bulletproof glass car door. It just makes no sense to me that this would be the way he leaves the show. I was sure that he would die in this season but not like this, more like protecting G'iah from Gravik and dying in the hands of his daughter...

I agree with you 100%. Talos dying to protect his daughter would be way better for both characters. But I also feel like the fact that he died to save the U.S president, a monumental figure for HUMANS, is still very tragic.
