Everyone shows the port but never the actual device to charge it.

They should use that port for bands that have small solar panels so you can charge your watch on the go!

I have a Apple Watch, but I'm just using the white sport band that comes with it for now.

thats awesome. I wonder if they have plans to make a charging band like that, that is still in development, or the port was just made to get a diagnosis of the watch and its a coincident that a company found a way to use it to charge it. (Apple's possible compition to Pebble's smart straps?)

Just so everyone knows, if you access this port on your own, it will void any warranty if you have one

The port must also be used to constantly charge the watch in the Apple Store on the interactive display models. If you notice, they don't have a standard charger under them, so there must be a cable running through the strap to the port.

They might make bands with cameras in the future to try and compete with Galaxy and that's just to connect it with the watch
