Just brilliant! It somehow touches my hearth to see those results on the C64 for a 1997 demo! I think this production really contributed to give motivation to all the C64 democoders that still exist now in 2020.

I remember my first TG, in 1998. They played this on the big screen in a free moment. Four thousand people gave standing ovations because it wasn't yet infested with gamers. As an old FC fan I was flabbergasted. WTF KB, WTF how did you do this.

If that C64 demo had been in 2024, it would be even better. Higher standards now, better tools.

Extremely incorrect comparison !!! • 256 colors against only 16 • 32-bit 33 MHz processor versus 8-bit 1 MHz • Megabytes of memory versus 64 kilobytes • Megabyte on a disk versus 170 kilobytes on a floppy disk etc. Old man C64 = my youthful love ! ♥

The disadvantages go way beyond even that. The ability to color on a per pixel basis. RGB levels. caches.
