This looks great ....Thankyou. I have helped my girlfriends family rebuild their home in Cebu after typhoon odette and they still need furniture so this is brilliant. On another note , any advice on home insurance in Cebu please ? Having done all the work is like to get it insured. Unlike England , two clicks on the computer and you have cover ...haha. However the Philippines is very different so any advice welcome . Say hi to OB from Somerset 😊. Salamat

That is extremely interesting. Of course, we have lots and lots of stores similar to that in the US. I wonder, if I brought a trailer on the back of my truck and purchased several items and ferried it over to Negros, is there a charge for transferring goods from one province to another?

There no customs between provinces. I know a person who transferred their entire household from Cebu to Leyte without problem.

@juna127 I get requests all the time from expats looking for used furniture because they want to rent a basic unfurnished apartment for six months or a year but don't want to spend a lot of money furnishing it. Also it is good for people who rent property, I know an American and Filipina who rented out their fully furnished main house while they downsized. They rented it on a long lease and the Foreigner lessee paid a P100,000 monthly rent, plus one month deposit, one month advanced, so P300,000 in total. They were paid no more so when the owner went to check. All their personal high end furniture and appliances which cost them over 2 million was gone. The house had been emptied out. So people also look for second hand furniture for renting property, people expect used when renting a furnished house.

@@villagepeoplephilippines ok, for us expats are people with big pockets. The 6-12 months stays are not expats but temporarily displaced. Expats I am familiar with usually carry family and move for long period of time looking for their pieces. Love your videos, great content

@juna27, Yeah, your right. Been on youtube too long where every foreigner calls themselves an expat. Including those that have been here a week. LOL. Thanks for watching.
