What makes April so special? Around the country, over 800 churches, organizations, and businesses have joined with Prison Fellowship to celebrate second chances during this month.
Second Chance Month seeks to recognize the 44,000 barriers to reentry that incarcerated individuals face upon release-barriers to housing, employment, transportation, and more. It’s an opportunity to unlock second chances for those wanting a fresh start.
This year, to celebrate the second chances being offered around the nation, Prison Fellowship and Glad Tidings International Church of God in Christ are delivering this special message to incarcerated individuals through Floodlight, Prison Fellowship’s in-prison streaming service.
Prison Fellowship’s president and CEO Heather Rice-Minus shares the biblical foundation for second chances in this service. You will also hear personal testimonies from Michelle Payette and Jon Kelly as they share what a second chance meant to them.
