Excellent short story! Kudos to you, guys! Good acting. Good and sharp scripts with no dragging. Fortunately my parents had a 51-year long married life. We are with them now and take care of them. Not everyone is lucky. I know a lady that became widow at 31 with four kids. She was smart and beautiful. She is now 75+. Imagine the struggles that she went through. I wish I was there to see if someone could marry her and take care of her. Another lady became a widow at 51. Though the children were all settled, the society did not think of her needs. She was lonely and depressed. ... stories go on. We all must take a positive step to bring about a change and get the older single parents that do not have to lead a single life. Great start! Best wishes.!

Concept is good. Wake up call for the present scenario of society where the single elderly need a friend.

So will you still have the same thought, especially if the couple who are getting married has children of their own with their previous partners? It is not the mindset of the society that is the problem, but the children of the marrying couple. So why complicate life in the name of having companionship. Why don't old people just face the reality of being alone and have a hobby to teach the younger generation what they know? This will help them get over their sense of loneliness and also it will benefit the younger generation. Instead, the older people are poisonous snakes and they deserve to be alone. Just observe and you will see what I mean. The good ones always will find companionship somehow.

Kuch to log kahenge, logon kaa kaam hai kehna, choro bekar ki baaton ko... We are social "animals" and companionship is the most important thing to happen, mainly as age progresses. There is no embargo for companionship and becoming happy in life. However, there is always a difference between reel and real!!!!
