The trenches are the most important thing in the SEC and that's why people are not high on Oklahoma. Week 4 Tennessee will be coming to Oklahoma and the game will be tough but they are home and Oklahoma can come away with the win. Week 5 Oklahoma will be taking a beat-up OLine into Jordan-Hare and if Auburn hasn't already collapsed that place will be hard to win in and that's when the realization of playing in the SEC will dawn on Oklahoma fans. Welcome to the SEC and good luck. :)

Ik chris had UK 5th on his defense ranking, and Chase has them 6th. Which is understandable, they usually are a top 2-3 unit in the SEC, and they were 2nd in the SEC in rush defense last season, but they struggled against the pass in 3rd down situations. The defense wasn't bad last year but definitely not as good as normal. I think that was mainly due to youth, with Maxwell hairston, D'eryk Jackson, Deone Walker, Jamon Dumas-johnson, Grant Godfrey, Tyrese fearbry, Alex afari, Oxtavious Oxendine, Keyshawn Silver, they are stacked with talent. And I'm going to make a bold prediction for Kentuckys defense this season. As long as they dont lose anybody major to injury, not only will Kentucky be a top 3 unit in the SEC once again, i think they will have the best defense in the conference. And the best defense in the SEC since 2021 Georgia.

Chase, I cannot believe you don't have OU in your top 3. OU brings back the 3rd most production, got Dominic Williams for the middle. Behind him is Stutsman, and behind him are the best group of safetys in the nation. On the book ends are the best corner group in the nation. They were deep at every position. OU Defense will be Elite. BV knows Defense and this is his 3rd year. OU defense in Big 12 also suffered horrible officiating in big 12. It is a fact. So you are sleeping on OU defense.

Yeah with bad officiating, terrible made up calls, and a big 12 commissioner that spoke out against OU at the game. With Stutsman hurt and Bowman hurt. Now depth is much deeper and BV has them ready to feast. And no big 12 refs to screw them over... Don't believe me? Go watch Drake Stoops get tackled in the endzone, while ball was in the air, before it arrived, and look at all the officials staring at it and no flag. Should have been ball on the 2 yard line, and 1st and 10. Other calls in that game, made up. It was a travesty. In Kansas game, too. Horrible.
