The issue is mothers (most good ones) don't have a limit to what they do for their kids. Doesn't matter what a father does...as soon as he takes things off Mom's plate, she'll fill it up with more "Stuff". So what mothers think "needs" doing, most fathers are like..."we don't need to do that".

Men are in a sad state. One reason men in relationships often become passive and hand over their balls is because relationships often develop a parent/child dynamic where the woman assumes the parent role. She ends up taking care of the house and therefore wants things done a certain way, the man acquiesces out of courtesy, and over time the man ends up being corrected so much he ends up assuming the child role. Then he get yelled at because he can't do anything right and anything he does just makes her madder, so he steps back and lets her do everything to maintain the peace. Many relationships are like this. My poor grandfather was a prisoner in his own home. My tyrant of a grandmother wouldn't even let him watch baseball or eat ice cream. He was almost scared to open his mouth because if he made her mad she would make his life a living he'll for weeks. Granted it is men putting up with being treated this way that allows it to happen. Every man should learn how to stand up to women. When I was married my wife tried to pull this shit on me and she would end up complaining that she couldn't MAKE me do anything and I said, "Yeah, because I'm not a child." As to the man-cave, women often try to take over most of the house. When I was married we bought a house and my ex didn't want me to hang anything up because she wanted "her" house to be "cute." She told me if I wanted to hang anything up I could do it in the laundry room. Most men end up giving up the house and settling for one room. The greatest thing a man can do for himself is learn to look a woman in the eyes and firmly tell her "no!"

have an ex who assumed i had all the "man stuff" figured out (which I do almost always) and that led us into the deep everglades in Florida... after I "man stuffed" her telling I KNEW the route and there were signs. She ignored me and demanded I follow the bots. She overrode me and went GPS Alexa type crap and I'm finding myself rolling into gater town, expecting some armed camos to roll outta the 'glades (NASA is there).. SO... i turned to my soon to be ex and said "DOESN'T SHE KNOW WE ARE BREAKING UP?!?" Like it wasn't already the last pass tpgether. .. but to be fail... she snot bubble laughed when we both admitted it was over once the Disney parade was over. Still laugh w her to this day. F'ing gps trying to kill me or get me separated from this drama fest... which in hindsight might mean was looking for a way to keep in im jail or in a gators jaw. I big L Love strong badarse women who will smile as they are choking me out. The pain is worth it mostly. Casual drama? nah. Makeup sex isn;t a kds game.
